Took one episode for Ken to drag Deirdre down and have the tears flowing. The old buggers back ordering everyone around. I HATE KEN BARLOW

I am pleased to see Ken back, he is part of the fabric of Coronation Street. But I still can't understand why Deidre didn't tell him about the situation with Peter. I hope they make it up as Deidre has been very supportive of Peter.

Wish he had stayed away. Much prefer Deidre without him. She had a much more rounded character and even gave Tracy what for over the medal. 2 minutes he's back and has lashed out at her. Why doesn't he portion some of the blame for being kept in dark to Peter. They can still write letters when they are on remand can't they? And to blame her for separating Peter and Simon!

And he may have been found not guilty but I still think he took advantage of his position "‘I’m not joking, he’s always touching me on the bum,’ the actress told the Mirror, adding: ‘But because it’s Ken Barlow he gets away with it. He’s a legend.’

Suranne Jones also mentioned he liked to grope the young women on set, when she was supporting Gaynor Faye in Dancing on Ice a few years back.

When Ken just SHOUTED out of the blue yesterday we fell about laughing. That scene with him and Dreary with her fake crying has to be one of the most hammed up and embarrassing in many a long day. Both of them need a bit of cosmetic denistry as well, not good in HD!

He's one lucky man to have kept his job all this time whilst being one of the worst actors on the show. His fit of temper last night even surpassed his scene a couple of years ago when he, in total hammy fashion, threatened Peter with "I will strike you!!" which was pure comedy gold and has become a bit of a catch-phrase in our house. I must admit I was glued to the screen last night but only to see if his acting could get any worse!

I've been asking for months now where the humour has gone in this programme but never expected it to return in scenes that were supposed to be dramatic.The acting was dreadful, the script not much better, Ken trying to be dramatic and failing badly, Dierdre crying without a single tear and her neck.........!! It was really embarrassing to watch last night.

Quite right. Why are Rob and Tracy still living in the house? They are two grown adults and should get a place of their own.

Deirdre praises Rob for being great, forgetting he goaded Peter accusing him of killing Tina then tried to order him to leave. Deirdre was still a moronic wimp, allowing Rob and Tracy to move in regardless of the fact they tried to fake a robbery to scare her. Hopefully Ken puts the two users out and takes action rather than let them walk all over him.

That scene with Deirdre and Ken was brilliant with Deirdre keeping shouting "SHUT UP KEN, SHUT UP!" And when Ken shouted "Why didn't YOU TELL ME!"

Ken looked older and thinner. He looked unwell IMO.

Not surprised all William has been through in the last 15 months. I loved how Ken kicked out Rob's hot murdering arse aswell and said "There's going too be a lot of changes here!"

Me too Sunny and I'm delighted he's back. He'll soon start investigating the murder which will scare murdering scumbag HotRob sh*tless.

And I thought he looked remarkably well considering what he's been through and old people do get even older in 16 months, but he had a good tan and quite a paunch on his stomach, so I was pleasantly surprised - I expected him to look a lot worse.

I am too oldnjaded, it's been a long time coming! Can't wait too see Ken go all Jessica Fletcher lol. Hope it scares HotRob shirtless aswell

He looks older to me aswell I think its a shame he seems different now but maybe ill get used to him

Spot on, and that's another thing that Deirdre should have consulted him about letting Rob live there. Suspension of reality - why wasn't Ken in touch with Peter while he was away, he would have told him everything, surely.

The script writers forget about such details. Both me and the OH always discuss who we allow to stop over.

I hope your teeth as as good as that when you are 82 !

OMG! Is he really 82?. In that case he is pretty good.

The script was an insult to viewers' intelligence, the acting was laughable but not in a comic way.
Very sad and disappointing.

And why is Adam not called Adam Baldwin?

Well, I am glad he has returned, the scenes with him and Deidre were funny in my opinion.
