You make the mistake of assuming they give a sh*t.
Is not gonna happen - they would not dare face the questions of
a) the current viewers
or
b) the viewers that have switched off this year
a) the current viewers
or
b) the viewers that have switched off this year

Yes good first question. There are enough of us oldens who watch it. Not stuffy. Open-minded. Like a laugh. Intelligent. Tolerant. Still hanging on in there in the hope that a wider variety of HMs will be chosen next year.
I will switch off if next year's lot are all cut from the same cloth.

I only watched Friday's last week and even that was in the background. It's just too far removed from what it's supposed to be these days.
