Correct me if I am wrong with relation to this loft conversion. Do all the houses not have shared attic space.

I remember a few years ago Ken crawled from his through the other houses and fell through the ceiling at the Battersby's as it was then and landed on Nick and Leanne in bed??
Yes, I think you're right and presumably blocking off next door's attic to make a loft conversion would form part of the planning permission he would have to apply for, (but no doubt won't).

Don't forget Fizz and Tyrone just pondering over the size of their roof and along swaggers burly builder Jason who we just know will do a loft conversion for mates rates.

Happens all the time in real, life.
They practically live next door to him so people bumping into one another isn't as unusual as everyone here seems to think.

Yes, I'm so glad Ken is back to stir things up and hopefully scare the bejezus out of Rob.
I love Deirdre to bits, but she is a bit flaky and she can be like a straw in the wind without Ken to keep her focused.
I guess Deidre will be back to forgiving Tracy everything now.

Waste of time for the reason stated above. But if you insist, try the User CP at the top of the page and then scroll down the left hand side to 'Buddy/Ignore' lists. Personally I prefer to choose who I respond to and who I ignore, without the aid of DS.
I shall take your advice and keep the list in reserve, the person I have in mind is someone who I have deliberately not quoted for months now to avoid previous unpleasantlness.

Makes a change from the crass Phelan Jokes I suppose.

And people in this thread are always attempting to be funny and failing its the done thing round here.
Set up an alternative episode thread in future, giving the reasons above to the mods as explanation. I say this as it makes no sense to me why you post in here if you don't like the general tone (and I say general, as we're not talking a loud minority of posters who make jokes, it's the majority who do).

What is the alternative to jokes anyway? Should we just detail what happens on screen? "Ken enters the Rovers. " I know which type of post I'd rather read.

Brilliant scenes. It must have been very difficult to play out considering the real reason behind Ken's absence. Nice to see Deirdre's anguish of being on her own being played out. Again, real stuff for the actress being without her co-star.

It was nice to see Ken treating Carla as a daughter-in-law and being angry at Peter's infidelity.

I love Tracy

Audrey's impression of Gail was fantastic. Not sure if Jason's line to Ken was all that realistic......is he really that thick?

I don't mind the jokes, its the crass ugliness of the Jokes I have a problem with on occasion they are not necessary and this thread is funnier without them, lots of people are funny here without resorting to that sort of thing, and the majority don't make them thats just certain people's imagination.

Oops promised to not talk about this anymore since it always gets me into trouble.

You would think that after 103 years on Corrie, William Roache would know not to look at the camera - but he does in every single scene!
I noticed it too! Have to say I really enjoyed both eps even though it takes quite a suspension of disbelief that Ken wasn't keeping up to date with the news in his locality whilst he was away. The Barlows are always guarantees to grab more viewers and it was refreshing to have a change from the perrenial misery we see Chez Windyarse.

Me neither, and I watched it again to catch all the bits I missed while I was busy on the thread, and specifically looked out for this. I didn't see him do it once.

(Obviously, if anyone has a clip where he did it, I will stand corrected, but it certainly can't be much of an issue since I've never seen/heard it pointed out before).
