Why do some stars reveal such personal details about their life? As for his girlfriend... she is either very genuine or she has played it to perfection

I dont understand what's "too personal" about it?? All I can see is a young man genuinely excited to become a father, and I think it's sweet that he wants thier child to be a part of thier wedding when it happens....

I didn't realize you knew him in real life?

To quote you, actors can only work with what they're given

His girlfriend looks older than him in those pictures. She almost looks like she's the one that looks after him and not the other way around he really looks like a mummies boy in these pictures.

That sort of 'empathy' must really assist you in your job 'helping' people.

One I am in my own time and no is perfect and two people like you make it very hard to HELP others which can be very off putting to the job

Not really the same. Models are there to look good, actors are supposed to be able to act.

How can it realistically be a surprise?

You're either doing it or not, putting some on it or not, taking something or not. If you don't wish to have a baby it's not rocket science on what to do to prevent it. Not saying they were trying for a baby but if they weren't taking any of those steps and have found out she's with child then how can that be a 'surprise'?

I agree. If he was so shocked then he didn't pay attention at school.

You do know that no contraception is 100% reliable?

After using the same contraception for 10.5 years I had a surprise pregnancy and it was an actual surprise. I had no idea I was pregnant and I was 100% positive when I did the test that it would be negative as neither of us had any reason to suspect I would be pregnant. I only did the test because if I went to the doctors about it, it would be the first thing they would ask. I was shocked and stunned when I found out as we already had two other older children and were done with having kids so we were always so careful. My husband was so adamant that he wasn't to blame that he had the snip as soon as the baby was born.

I am aware of that fact and because I don't want children myself or a surprise, we double up.

I'm also not really surprised to hear that it stopped working you after being on whatever it was for over 10 years, that a long time and your body would have changed so much within that time and probably got use to the dosage of it. Not that I'm a doctor but if that can happen with someone who regularly takes pain killers the same much happen with other forms. That's not a pop at you or anything, just saying that's a long time to be on anything.

I just get a big pedantic with the whole celebrities in OK magazine and using the word 'surprise' when it comes to a pregnancy. We have seen it far too much and it annoys me a little bit.

The only foolproof method is abstinence!

Well as long as you realise that when someone generally has a surprise pregnancy it is not always something for others to smile about. My child is nearly two and I still haven't got my head round it.
