I would prefer it if she had served her time yes, although as stated that time is too short. The problem we have is that although Stacey was made a murderer, that wasn't the decision of the current producer; in fact he publically disagreed with it, so of course he is going to have writers write around it.

Tracy Barlow got let out of jail in Coronation Street and she only served 3 years and 8 months and she didn't get a retrial and she murdered someone in cold blood so why didn't she get a retrial and plus se never confessed to murder but Stacey did.

But as we keep stating, Tracy is a different type of character to Stacey. She is a villain, somebody the audience isn't supposed to like and I strongly suspect that if and when Ford chooses to leave again she will end up back in Prison. We are supposed to be on Stacey's side and see her as a victim and heroine who shouldn't be in Prison.

Well they ramped it up to 11 in that episode. The nasty, horrible Slaters truly outdid themselves.

"You're a Slater. You show Lily how to live her life." - Said Screechy Jean to hot murderess Stacey.

What a set of morals to teach the poor kid - that if something, anything, horrible happens to you, don't be afraid to kill the perpetrator in cold blood several months later, let the love of your life die and take the blame, go on a holiday for 2 years, shack up with any bloke that'll keep you in red coats and scarves, hand yourself in like you're some precious martyr, 2 weeks later decide you've served your time and you deserve to be a free woman.

It comes to something when the only bugger talking any sense is vicious murderess Stacey, the moral compass of Walford, and even she gave into the 'Stacey Reality Distortion Field' 2 scenes later.

Lily is truly ****ed with a horrible family like that.

Even though you don't like the Slaters do you think Jessie, Lacey and Gillian are really good at acting? Did you like Kat when she first came into the show?

I don't remember much about when Kat came into the show. If I'm honest I was probably blind drunk at the time.

Today it got even worse. Horrible Jean turned up with that whiny kid and decided horrible Stacey deserved to get out of prison because she's sick of looking after the brat. To show balance and decency, Kat showed some apprehension for all of two lines before proclaiming that 'YA NEED TO GET OUT OF 'ERE GIRL, YA DAUGHTER NEEDS YA.' And thus, it will be done.

Horrible Stacey needs to get out of prison like Archie needed that bust shaped hole in his head. Because of whiny Lily. You know, the kid she conceived whilst sleeping with a married man.

Not a mention of Bradley in all this, who died so that horrible Stacey could comically run around the square in scarf disguises and get nominated for a best actress BSA as a result.

I loathe the horrible Slaters, and can only hope at least half of them perish in the upcoming fire as a bare minimum.”

Yawn... They're a great family loved by many! Many praise for them on twitter tonight, they're brilliant, and should get away with it because loads love them, AND THEYRE NOT BLOODY REAL! It's only fiction...

I agree with this. Kat is a great character as the clips I have just posted on here show that she is

Tracey did have a re-trial? It was about 6 months after she came out, it was off screen and she was found innocent.

Just so you all know I've changed my mind.

I still loathe the rest of them but I really like Stacey. A hot and alluring murderess if ever there was one.
