Eastenders: Characters past/present, past/present cast, What would you have done?
Hey I have a few questions:
1. If any of you became EP of Eastenders from 2006-present what would you have done with Phil, Peggy, Billy, Ian, Jane, Peter, Lucy, Stacey, Denise, Patrick, Bradley, Sean,, Jim, Honey and Dot? Would you have bought Bianca, Ricky, Liam, Cindy Jnr, Kat, Alfie, Janine, Sharon, Carol, David, Sonia, Rebecca and Deano back? Would you have bought Whitney, Tiffany, Morgan, Ronnie, Roxy, Amy, Danielle, Michael, Scarlett, Oscar, Zainab, Masood, Shabnam, Tamwar, Lola, Jay, Lexi, Lily, Tommy, Janet, William, Kamil, Cora, Rainie, Charlie, Les, Pam, Shirley, Mick, Linda, Nancy, Johnny, Stan, Tina, Babe,Terry, Nicki, TJ, Rosie, Fatboy, Jake, Sadie, Bella, Syed and Jack into the show? Would you have given Max, Tanya, Lauren and Abi a chance in the show when they arrived in July 2006 so would you have had the Max and Stacey affair storyline? 2. I know that people don't like the Slaters and Branning's and Beales ect and some Mitchell's and Sharon but isn't it best to keep the best actors and actresses even if they do play a character we don't like? Some people don't like Dot, Carol, Kat, Stacey, Max, Ian, Sharon and Phil but if half the cast like Kat, Stacey, Carol, Sharon and Dot were all axed then we would lose fantastic actresses like Jessie Wallace and Letitia Dean and Jun Brown ect and plus there would hardly be any cast left if some people on here were EP getting rid of most of the cast especially the cast who can act. To me as long as the actor/actress can act then Im happy for the character they play to stay in the show because if Letitia Dean, Steve McFadden, June Brown, Lacey Tuner, Jessie Wallace and Lindsey Coulson couldn't act at all then I would want their character axed same with Ross Kemp if he couldn't act I don't people would want him to return to Eastenders. |

Letitia Dean is not a "fantastic" actress.

2006 was a unique year for Eastenders because a few big characters had left the show in 2005 and to me it felt as though it was missing some 'old' blood. The year was good for bringing in new characters that are a big part of the square today, but back then I think the show would have benefited from bringing back a few old characters and some better storylines. I know Grant returned for a short stint, but they could have done with a few more I think.
