True Edith didn't vote on quality of performance but NEITHER DID ADE. They can vote on what they like and did.

Edith's reasons were actually exactly the same as Ade's - she spends time with Reggie (she's been teaching him to play the guitar for the last 2 afternoons) and not Debra who hangs out with Kim and both she and Ade admire Reggie for sticking it out.

I see what your saying but for me I kind of group them as the singers = the girls and the comedy= adrian & reggie(apparently, though he's certainly not a singer)

Today she decided exactly what Ade did. Unless you believe in some sort of female solidarity dating back into evolution before rational thought thats what people do. Given she has spent the last two days with Reggie and Ade and never done anything with Debra it would have looked odd not to decide that way too.

Not at all. Didn't Sinead and Ainslie vote for Lemar over their best friend Malachi? Why? ... because they had integrity and knew who the best singer was and who deserved their place in the last 4 more.

Thats very true but Colin and Edith's lovely Mum who was looking very film star- esque this evening will realise that Edith may get to the final of Fame Academy but she has made a massive miscalculation that might just affect her fanbase in the coming months.

I'm not being bitter, but after tonight Edith has plummeted in my estimation. I certainly hope Kim wins because she *is* the best out of all of them. Edith is also good, but her tactics mean I won't be supporting her any more.

Perhaps simply not supporting her is a better idea than sending texts slagging her off...let's just keep that on the forums where it belongs.

Its a silly thread. Ade and Edith both voted the same way for the same reasons. The reasons make coherent sense - though different reasons would produce other results. Reggie and Edith and Reggie and Ade are very close as you can see on live streaming. Edith comes from the same DJ viewpoint as Reggie so its hardly surprising if she emphasises with him, Its hard luck on Dawn actually because she might have survived if students had weighed the arguments with her - but the group decide that policy rightly or wrongly and we don't know who suggested it as the discussion evidently dates back before tuesday.

Other motives cannot be known. If someone claims Edith removed competition you could equally build a case that Ade wants Reggie there so it doesn't come down to him and Debra with Kim voting for Debra and Edith voting for Ade and Kim wants Debra in the SF because Debra is the only person who might bump Ade or Edith out of the final. Picking one possible conspiracy theory and forgetting the others just doesn't work,

For Goodness sake !!! They can vote to save whoever they want and for whatever reason they want. But for some people anything Edith does is due to some masterplan she has... jeez. She has always voted for Reggie when it comes to the student vote, be a bit wierd if she didn't do it for the upteenth time tonight. He's her mate I've not seen her really interact with Debra at all on the live stream. Also I don't think debra was particularly good tonight.
Gina ( she's great) was a pants singer but that didn't stop many of the others voting her back in a number of times. Ade used to say he's voting for the girls cos he wants to be in a house full of lovely laydeez; but when push comes to shove he votes for his mates, Nick, and Reggie several times; yet people aren't arming themselves with pitchforks and demanding he be burnt at the stake.
