A while back, you were defending their use of "tonight's performance". Last night, you were defending their responsibility-ducking vote-split. Ok, there's some consistency there. Both of those voting strategies are "go with the flow" ways to avoid giving a real opinion or saying anything that might offend.
Now you're defending voting for friends!

I don't have any conspiracy theory (except for the one that everyone seems to accept -- that the students discuss the vote and at least sometimes agree it).
But the votes are starting to leave a bad taste, and tomorrow could be even worse.
