So Eastenders has several old faces returning, such as Stacey, Jean, Sharon, Nick, Dean and so on. Over the last 18months quite a few have returned and I wonder if the same may happen soon on Corrie. I was watching the Mill on Sunday and there is a actress there that stood out, I noticed her from somewhere and couldn't remember where. Then It hit me...she was in corrie. Can't remember the name of the character but the real name is Sascha Parkinson...I believe. The character she played in Corries was Sophie's friend/girlfriend and I remember them too being as it was said 'Adorable' and I was miffed why Sascha left.

I wonder...since she didn't die or go jail, is there a chance of her returning? Her story with Sophie was fascinating and there was lots of drama and my fiancé told me he has a female friend that came out after that and it was sweet how stories on TV can help people.

As Old Man 43 said Sacha Parkinson has got got herself quite a good career post Corrie and is now joining the new series of Mr Selfridge. She quit because the role of Sian was going nowhere and it would be a big step back for her to even consider returning IMO.

I dont see it as a step back at all. That relationship was empowering for many of those who wanted to come out. Its well written and that story could have been taking further. Oh well, I would love Dennis in EE to return, being dead wont help lol.

Probably because most of the available cast are still in the show, clinging on for dear life. I'm looking at you Fiz, Dev, Sean, Michelle etc.

That said, a Toyah return would be nice.

A large amount of returns can seem unrealistic. Corrie have done in right in the last 12 months with Liz, Todd, Tony and Jim.

Look at Eastenders, how many have returned in the past few years?

A son seeing his sick father. A mother discussing custody with her ex. A daughter helping ger mother deal with cancer. Hardly unrealistic.

Stacey and Ronnies returns are the only two that doesn't make any sense
