Only started watching Emmerdale around Christmas last year when Cameron was in it and Genie died. Aaron wasn't in the show then, so i'm just wondering why his return is important and why he left etc;? I know nothing about him.

Thanks

In a nutshell - Adam set fire to the garage with Cain inside it. Aaron decided to take the rap but skipped bail and went on the run to France with his (then) boyfriend Ed. He and Ed have now split up and Adam has been in touch with him and Aaron is coming back.

He's still wanted by the police though I'd imagine so I can't see how they are going to get round that.

Aaron had big stories including a big coming out story that won the actor, story and show loads of awards.

He was in denial and was self arming and attempted suicide, he found live with Jackson, but one night he was involved in a crash and Jackson ended up parallised, and Jackson then asked his mum and aaron to kill him witch he did.

Aaron tone the wrap for best friend adam when Adam set fire to the garage with Cain inside, this was revenge over him and Morias affair.

He then fled the country with his then boyfriend Ed who was a rugby player

It's not really important. He's just been slotted into somebody else's storyline.

Well they'll have to get round him being on the run somehow now that we know Aaron is back for good, as Danny Miller confirmed in an interview:

How long is Aaron back for?

He’s back for the long haul, I’m delighted to say, and I can’t see any reason that’s going to take me away from this.

He said he's back for the 'foreseeable'. That's how long he has scripts for, not for good.

so why did he say that in an interview with TV Choice?? No offence but I'd rather take Danny's word than yours seeing as all you do is shoot other posters down over stuff like this.

Aaron in a nutshell'ish.

Aaron was a right little shite in his young days, he caused trouble between his mother and Carl King. He was once played by Charley webb's (Debbie) brother. Danny Miller the current actor portraying him, played him from about 16/17. He was a violent thug that beat up Paddy at his coming out. He then met his knobhead boyfriend Jackson who was mown down by a train and paralysed. After getting shot of him by killing him off with a cocktail of drugs because he was basically a head on a stick, Aaron tried a dose of self harming. He then got involved with dead-ugly Ed and ran away with him to France when he took the blame for the fire at the garage whilst protecting dimbat Adam.

And now he's back for more. I just HOPE he's grown up a bit, the miserable huffing and puffing starts to grate after a while.

The exact same interview is sent to ALL journalists/Press. Some twist/delete/replace the actual words with what they think is more 'interesting'. He wasn't interviewed exclusively by TV Choice. They got (from the Press Office) what everyone else did. DS ran a more accurate transcription.

Oh he has, he now stuffs his jeans inside his socks instead of his trackies.

Ok then Wyezed, I'll accept that the different mags etc. just do a re-hash of the interview.... So, I had another look at the DS one, and Danny does say that he's back for the forseeable.. but I did also see this....

"Here, Danny Miller - who plays Aaron - chats about his return storyline, what drew him back to Emmerdale and why his character is here to stay!"

Go on.. tell me I'm wrong again

He cries a lot!

Aaron is actually a really good character and has a lot of depth. He comes across as abrupt and moody a lot of the time but he had been through a lot back then so he may have changed a bit and dare I say, found some happiness.

I doubt he's found that much happiness or he wouldn't be risking his freedom to come back to ED, where he's a wanted man, just for pathetic man-child Adumb.

The trackies have been ditched, which is a good thing! Maybe it's a sign he's matured a little bit?

Not a watcher of Emmerdale, but I did catch a few clips of Aaron's initial stint - He's an incredible actor, really talented. I'm not quite sure why he gets so much hate over on this forum... From what I've seen of the soap, he's their best male actor.

Why did he take the blame for Adam?
Because Adam's attack on Cain was a revenge attack, He blamed Cain for tearing his family apart which lead to the death of his (Then real) father, And Aaron knowing that the Bartons were devestated by John's death, didn't want them to lose Adam too.

Danny is brilliant - the scenes where he beat up Paddy and then told him that he was gay were incredibly well acted. I'm looking forward to some Aaron/Paddy scenes
