Kevins first return was a bit of a flop because of his personal issues so what have the writers got planned for him this time?
I wouldn't like to see Sally and Tim split up straight away but am looking forward to more screen time with the Websters, it's been far too long.

I think a small return

More Sally and Kevin time is always good. I think he'll probably be more involved in Sophies stories with Maddie at first though to ease him back into the roll before they give him one of his own. Maybe he can have a wee fling with Tracy when Rob leaves later this year. Those two could be a laugh together

It doesn't have to work out. Just a wee volatile fling to keep them occupied for a bit

They did have Roy believing that he had gotten Tracy pregnant at one point remember. Anything's possible, no matter how scary it may be, lol

I am hoping that Kevin will throw Sophie and Muddie out of his house and that they go and live a long way a way.

No chance of that, Brooke has signed a new contract. I quite like them though, warming to Maddie more since her scenes with Simon

Is he here to stay this time? I was not happy about the last.

I want to know why his Dad is so dependent on him, a 50 year old man? What happened to Pam and his son Karl, 29?

Expect Kevin to return as a gospel singer with full jazz hands

As long as they keep him as far away from Sally as possible and don't split up the brilliant pairing of Sally and Tim for a boring, tired, repetitive, unimaginative Kevin and Sally reunion.

How have they explained his current sudden absence? I think I must have been on holiday when he left again

I note that like Michelle Connor, Sophie has had a bit of a character transplant recently. She's stopped screeching.

Maybe they feel the less said about Pam, the better. If so, I would certainly agree with them. Dreadful character.

Maybe they should give Ken and Kevin a storyline together, they would have to be falsely accused of some horrendous crime where, against all odds, they beat off the vultures and come out on top. One in the eye for people making false accusations.

What about pairing him with Julie and in turn that would alllow her to be a mother to Jack.

Kevin and Tracy, Julies got to have a fling with Steve while Michelle falls for Gary. Lets mix it up.

Knowing the writers they will take this lazy route, and Tim will suddenly act like an unlikable villain and leave with his tail between his legs. I prefer Sally with Tim, plus she is far less annoying now.

I honestly don't mind Kevin and Sally together...

I agree about not breaking up Sally and Tim!!! But if they do stay together, I can't see Kevin having much to do when he finally returns.

Actually, although I like Sally and Tim, I feel Tim would be better suited with Julie or someone a bit more detached from reality. The potential for more dramatic hard hitting storylines is much wider with Sally and Kevin. So much history, so many skeletons in the closet. They go all the way back to living with Stan and Hilda.
I hope the money that Kev and Sally won is addressed soon too, I think the writers have forgotten they are sitting on tens of thousands, well, Sally is anyway.

If he still has his home next door to the Grimshaws then I expect he'll be involved as a support in the storyline
Spoiler
involving Tyrone and Fiz being conned by Tony and Todd

He could come back, having turned to drugs and alcohol, attending support groups, with a propensity to disappear on a regular basis. Should write itself.
