Is it easy to get good quality Turkey?
Going around the supermarkets I notice the free range chicken or organic of course. However Turkey doesn't seem to have the same identification. Is there very little free range Turkey in this country? I like to know where my meat is coming from although I don't know of any fancy butchers near me.

We usually order our Christmas turkey from small independent producers, but you can certainly buy free-range turkey in the supermarkets.

I brought some Turkey mince today that had some kind of foods standards thing on it, not sure what exactly. Presumably not free range or it would say so.

I assume free range turkeys are more expensive to rear than free range chickens, so the suppliers will likely want to maximise profit selling whole birds into the christmas market.
