I mean how vile is this man to continue using the death of his daughter to cover up his dirty, filthy secrets. He only took notice once Linda said she knew....I wish this guy would get his comeuppance one day ......he always seems to do really horrible things to people who genuinely care for him yet he gets away with it. I guess some may say losing Lucy is the ultimate price but to be fair apart from that the guy pretty much always lands on his feet.”

I was liking the Mick/Ian friendship with the learning to swim storyline. Why couldn't it have been another character who spotted Ian with Rainie?

$ost of the other characters wouldn't have cared enough about Ian to stop, let alone take the rap for him. Plus, for plot purposes, it had to be a happily married family man and how many of those are in the Square? Alfie would be the only other candidate and much as Alfie likes Ian, he'd put Kat first.

Yes! Linda hit the nail on the head when she said "who are you? SAINT MICHAEL??!"

It's just so unbelievable that someone like Mick would cover for Ian especially knowing him for just a short while. ... It's not even an even deal...you teach me to swim and I'll take the rap for you soliciting! Sure! It's a no brainer. Seems fair.....right?!

Pathetic
