Now that the TV start time has been confirmed, does that mean the cinema start time is the same?

I ask because it's not been advertised as a simulcast, has it?

It'll be the same time as the TV version:

Where it says (About This Film), go to the bottom of the section, it'll say it there.

In theory the cinema showing should be longer as it is 24 fps, where the version we see on Tv will be sped up to 25fps, a shame it was shot that way, you would think the cinemas would be capable of showing 25fps so we can have the correct speed on TV.

Anyway, i suppose this has been done to death in the Day of the doctor thread already.

Not necessarily, most digital screens can take input from pretty much anything without mucking about with the frame rate.

Well somebody is getting the wrong speed, as it was filmed 24fps and tv is onlly capable of showing 25fps, they may speed the cinema version up as well, but that would be pointless, other than to give them both the same runtime.

I booked when the tickets became available and the start time was 7pm. But the Cineworld website now says 'doors open at 19:00' and 'exclusive content** starts at 19:44'

**I guess this is the DVD trailer. I aim to be there at 19:30 to avoid the majority of the adverts and trailers as the seats are pre booked and I'm sat on the isle anyway so don't need to bother anybody.

It says there is a live Q and A with Peter Capaldi. When will that be? After the screening or before? I imagine it must be after so he can openly discuss the episode.

When I booked my tickets with VUE on release day I was told by the lady that everything would start at 19:35 which is also what is printed on my tickets. Now that will include adverts so I'd say that it's correct in that the DW content will actually start at around 19:45 ready for the episode to begin at 19:50.

The Q and A will be after the making of which will be after the episode.

So, Making Of will start at 9:10 PM/21:10 and the Q and A will happen at 9:22 PM/21:22.

It'll be a live Q and A, so I'd best think about what you're going to be asking.

My other advice would be, if possible/allowed to, take a tablet pc or a smartphone, so that if you have a twiiter/facebook/email account, you can ask questions there and then.

You may not want all the pre show bits, but the cinema does mot want/need 250 people turn up at 19.45 for a 19.50 show.

Actually, Texas is so big that the USA is inside of it.

Yuppers. Texas is the really big state in the middle of the Southern USA.
