April and Marlon
lawless45

Still haven't quite fathomed where this is going. Is there a possibility that at some point in the relatively near future someone else turns up claiming April as his daughter? Did Donna bring April back to Emmerdale and Marlon because she didn't want her to be with her real father? More angst for Marlon, this one could tip him over the edge of acting credibility.

I thought this from the start Donna never seemed the type of person to deprive a father of his child especially a nice guy like Marlon. I don't believe she would have hidden his daughter from him for 5 years. I suspect Aprils real dad is a bit of a villain and faced with death and not wanting to leave her with him Donna lied that Marlon was the dad to give her a better start in life. It will all come out after her death. They originally said when Donna first returned that her storyline would be full of twists.

It must be embarrassing for Marlon to be out acted by a child in every scene they share

Must watch out for her.
Those two are a dream together, there is a real bit of magic between the pair of them (Marlon & April).

There certainly is and I say that as somebody who hates Marlon usually. The scene last night where she just gave him a hug out of the blue was so natural and lovely.

That would be an interesting storyline, lawless45.
