I think Ste works it out but is not actually told. This is from the interview Keiron gave:
Spoiler
Quote: “Ste has come to the conclusion that Finn has raped John Paul, he hasn’t actually been told by John Paul that it was him, but he has taken it upon himself to sort it, without asking if John Paul wants it sorted.”

And probably after Finn rapes half the village.
Then, instead of the villagers feeling any sympathy for JP, they'd be pissed at him for keeping quiet so long and allowing a rapist to roam the streets freely.

This is exactly the way I see it playing out after Nancy gets attacked.

That's true, but I think the writing is making JP look bad. Him getting snippy with Ste who doesn't know the whole story, Nancy getting attacked, etc. To me, it seems like Hollyoaks is going in the direction of victim blaming. Perhaps they'll go in a different direction when the truth is ultimately revealed though.

If they are working with a rape charity then they have to make it ok for JP

Well at least the business of the affair is off the table. I know people liked Sam, but they went to far down that direction of the affair. I wasn't interested in Sam's moral dilemma. IRL it wouldn't be allowed to exist I am sure. There would more than 2 police and Sam would have to tell her boss of the conflict or face possible discipline.
Unfortunately the mixing the rape and affair probably is one of the things that ended up getting Sam killed off.

He was kind of attractive today wasn't he? No problem, Keith Rice seems like a good guy its OK to find him attractive. As long as you don't actually desire someone like Finn.

Always is :P yeah he does........
Haha.... ha....... yeah of course i dont..........
I thought I was alone in finding him attractive today I think it's because he's always in his school uniform or The Hutch clothes. Plus we saw him genuinely smiling rather than being constantly vile.

Yeah, there's the whole bad boy appeal going on. For example, I never really found Rob that attractive on Coronation Street until he killed Tina.

How could you?
I'm sure if you saw him in reality you'd run the other way
