Microsoft ends support for Windows Phone 7X and kills Skype for it too

Its the end of the road for Windows Phone 7 support on 9th September 2014 as Microsoft stop support for it. Windows Phone 7.8, was released in January 2013. Its a bit of a double whammy as Microsoft will kill Skype for Windows Phone 7 and you will no longer be able to sign in.

Microsoft did this sort of thing with Windows Mobile too ending support and killing Apps stone dead. Let the buyer beware!

If you have a Nokia Lumia 710, 800, 900, or HTC Titan II as well as a few others then it may be time to look for something else.

My mate has a Lumia 800 which is due to be upgraded in October this year. One thing that has always annoyed him is the inability to be able to adjust text size... Always felt it pretty poor of MS not to implement a basic feature.
