Cora had gone too far with Mick and Linda in the Vic. I really hated how she publicly humiliated Mick and I thought she was really harsh!!

She is a nasty woman with no redeemable qualities!!!!

Was it that she actually felt sorry for Rainie and wanted to protect her or was it because she wants to pass the blame on Mick when deep down she knows she should have done more for Rainie years ago

Bit of both I suspect. She knows that Rainie is basically to blame and she is the main reason Rainie is like she is (note even though she was desperate for Rainie not to sell herself, she had to leave herself enough money for alcohol - the addictive personality comes from her and she still won't put her children's needs before her own) but also thinks that if men weren't willing to take advantage of prostitutes Rainie wouldn't be able to sell herself.

Cora is a great character
But tonight she was out of order for public humiliating Mick like that.

Cora snapped but this is neither Cora or Mick's fault... It's Ian & Rainie's.

Mick pleaded guilty to soliciting her daughter. What is she meant to think?

Love Cora and the actress is absolutely brilliant.

Of course it is Ian and Rainie's fault but Cora is not aware of that slimeball Ian yet
My main issue is the sudden u-turn: supporting Nancy and then turning on Mick
parental instinct

If Cora is so keen on honesty she should have told everyone that it was her own daughter that is the whore and junkie...let the locals judge her parenting skills.

As if Mick would want to shaft that thing when he has a lovely wife at home.

Horrible, horrible Cora. I'd give her a good kicking but I don't want her on my shoes.

I haven't disliked someone since she didn't pay Dots bills and she ended up in court.

Despicable creature

No one claimed she was good so I don't see the need for redeeming features. She is nasty through and through and she embraces that role, asbo granny.

Not too fussed to be honest, Mick's another one who seems to think his clan's above the law what with pestering a cancer-stricken woman on the day of a major operation to stay quiet for his stupid babyish sister and thinking it ok for his son to keep quiet about potential evidence in a local murder investigation to keep him out of the stick. Yeah it's a shame he got called out on something he's innocent of but maybe it's about time people were given the idea his shit don't really smell that rosy.

I think it will develop Micks character nicely, he is becoming too much of a happy go larry landlord.

Cora's a vile, stinking, old lush. F#ck her and her slutty, hooker daughter.
