Odd how he didn't mention Andy at all. He seems to have been forgotten by everyone

Had Jim and Peter Barlow ever met before?

I have had a crush on Jim for many a moon now, so I have.

A bit of a shame that. He's suddenly remembered though whenever Liz needs to leave to stay in Spain

I thought that too.

Was surprised Steve hasn't visited Jim even though he's had a lot of visiting orders.

I have had a crush on Jim for many a moon now, so I have.
I wondered that, I'm sure Peter didn't appear in the show between 1989 and 2000 which was when Jim lived in the street, then Jim was in prison until 2010 when Peter was back on the scene (Jim was released in 2007 but Peter came back in 2008). Then Jim didn't visit again until 2009 and 2010 the first time being for Steve's wedding. Very odd.

They have been in the show at the same time in 2009, 2010 and 2011, however the both characters never shared a scene together in that time. Charles Lawson said this in an interview recently.

Myself and Chris have been in the programme at the same time before, but our paths have never crossed and we've never had a scene together. To Jim, he's Ken Barlow's son - that's about it.

Poor Jim.
I remember Liz telling him that she would wait for him.
In fairness to Liz, she's never specified for how long though

They seem to keep bringing him back for short stints so they do. Why don't they just bring him back for good? They obviously feel there is still mileage in the character

I wish he would grow his moustache again. He has such a weak mouth and chin.
