Another good read by the PB.net team

I like the idea of her linking with the Cannings!

Kym Valentine has burned her bridges with Fremantle, so I doubt they will ever invite her back again. This is a controversial opinion but I don't think a full time return for Libby is needed in this moment and time. I'd much rather a permanent return from Mal, as they have barely scratched the surface with him. Compared to Libby who was exhausted as a character in the end.

Tried to sue the show means less chance for her to come back in future. She returned because that was her settlement. Be grateful that she came back for 3 weeks and had a proper exit.

I blame the producer at the time

I keep hearing this...

She tried to sue a network, not some small, close-knit family business. Networks don't run on 'ill feelings', they run on business decisions. Axing Libby and pissing off the fans and all the long term actors associated with Kym (Susan, Karl, Lou, Toadie) is not a good business move, neither is losing a long term character who enriches two other long term characters (Karl and Susan). Nobody would benefit from Kym being unable to ever return and I doubt Kym would ever 'settle' for that considering it's the very reason she was suing in the first place!

Her exit scenes were the generic 'Neighbours' exit stuff, exactly the kind of scenes Callum, Mason, Pam/ Doug, Lucas/ Vanessa got, so I don't understand where all these daft 'it was final' rumours are coming from. Were people expecting her to leave and NOT say goodbye to her own parents?

I personally dont mind if Libby doesnt return and having read the Perfect Blend article I do have to say that Karl and Susan would be better off having Malcolm around instead of Libby, although he would have to separate from Catherine.

Mal needs to return with Catherine in the near future with some children on tow, rather Than introducing a new character.

Love Libby, but her recent return left me cold. She just wasn't the Libby I remembered, over acted and nobreal purpose to the return.

If Libby was written right, I think it would be great!

Libby is needed in Neighbours, she would be great working alongside Paul or Shelia

They should introduce some teenage kids who turn out to be Mal's if they want to give the Kennedy's some children to fill their house up after all Mal is 40 now so old enough. I'd rather that than bringing in relatives of the Kinski family who are nothing to Karl and Susan. We need more proper Kennedy's not awful Kinski's.

Yes I agree. The never before mentioned character of Nate, a cousin of the Kinskis coming to live with Karl & Suze! Get their Grandkids in!!!!

If she does return I hope she learns how to act again. She was terrible last time. She kept pulling bizarre face mannerisms. It was just so strange.

I think its the writers who need to improve the writing for the character, giving her better material.

What really annoying me at the moment is there are so many new characters coming in when be great for the Kennedy family Libby was to return.

I don't know if kym is well enough to be up for it.

Libby is Ramsay St royalty but I don't really want her back. Maybe I'm still stung by the endless Steph/Dan baby saga. She became so annoying by the end I was glad she was gone. Her little return this year was good, it could have been longer and its a shame she didn't come at the same time as Mal, but that was enough for me.

I think she will be brought back permanently mid years next year.

I kind of agree with this, and I really like Libby!!

But the show is doing fine at the moment, I don't feel like I miss her. Plus she has came and went so many times, I think she has become a bit exhausted.

I mean if she did come back, I'd be happy. But I don't think it's the right time.

I think the scriptwriters struggle to get her a fresh approach and direction.

Well she needs to learn how to act normally again. Then bring her back.
