Someone has just made an absolute fortune

Whilst I've not doubt that the campaign made a difference, someone noticed that the 12th eviction was anyone's game and made a FORTUNE?

Well played undisclosed gambler person/s, well played.

Winston's odds on going tonight were massive so no undisclosed gambler person/s have had made big bets otherwise the odds would have come down but....

The bookies will have made a killing on all the bets placed on him to win outright.

Well when an HM goes who is popular and has long odds it always seems like a betting scam to me

His odds definitely shortened from yesterday.

Why? He was consistently the outsider in terms of the odds being offered by the bookies so obviously there was very little money put on Winston to be evicted.

It's not a scam, it's simply that the people who voted to evict Winston didn't bet on the same outcome.

Winston's odds came down a lot today, but I think it was a snowball effect of the campaigns on here, twitter and facebook.

No betting scam but I'm sure anyone that did bet on him, chucked a few votes his way as well.

Depends on what you class as a fortune, I did pretty well. I stand to make quite a bit this year as I already have.

i feel like an idiot now.
i considered putting £10 on but we literally have money money at the moment.
a couple of hundred would have been great for us to win.

You would have lost if you bet him at 66/1 as that was the price for him on the 11th eviction. He was 12/1 for the 12th eviction.

I would guess the voting population and the betting population may have little overlap.

but those were the sort of odds being offered to evict Winston in the 11th eviction - which he wasn't - he was evicted in the 12th.
I did see one bookmaker offering odds on Winston being evicted TONIGHT - 14/1 about 15 mins before Mark was evicted but I didn't have time to set up an account and I didn't think the odds were that good, although I did vote 4 times to evict Winston in the Ipad app because I had bet on Ashleigh to win yesterday.

Don't worry guys - i put £5.00 on Winston to be evicted at 66/1 - imagine my sadness when it turns out APPARENTLY it was "first to be evicted" - no betting shops/websites seemed to care that he was still evicted anyway, and that I was right. They were only taking bets on first to be evicted.
