Unlike housemates, viewers aren’t being controlled by BB so if they see something they think is unacceptable, they are quite entitled to voice their opinion/concern.

(IMHO)
BB told the housemates that the money they managed to ‘clock up’ was going to be added on to the winner’s total. Housemates believed that was the ‘deal’.
That statement was later changed to “if Ashleigh can correctly guess who the three housemates were that decided to take that money ‘now’ then Ashleigh would win it for the group. If Ashleigh guessed wrong then all the housemates would lose all the money.
The housemates weren’t aware that this was part of the deal at the start of the task, so, I guessing this task was just a ‘ruse’ by BB to get them to all turn against each other and that’s exactly what happened.
I suspect if Ashleigh had guessed ‘right’ then later on in the task there would have been ‘yet another condition’ to win or lose the money.
The task was never about ‘winning money’ it was designed to get housemates arguing over money and falling out with each other (which of course it did) this is normal game playing by BB.
Mark won a ‘real’ box of money at the start of the series but that was different, because everyone could see it, the only evidence of this extra money was a ‘clock counter’ on a wall.
