Just to be clear, on this thread i don't want any 'Get BK off' or anything like that, this is solely for the storyline, you can say he isn't doing a good job at the storyline but i want no he is awful and should die etc.
I called this storyline controversial because people are saying that it isn't true to real life. Here are my views on it:
1) You do have to realise that it is a soap and since this is HOLLYOAKS, probably one of the most unbelievable soaps ever.
2) I think that the whole aspect was very thought out, using Hilton's constant hospital care to trigger something in Cindy's brain to make her go a bit loopy and i can see that they did do a bit of research behind it with the illusions etc. I didn't know that was a symptom (which also got me thinking about Stacey's bipolar and how she could see her aborted daughter but that's a different story)
3) I think they haven't written it or planned it out as well as i hoped, it all seemed to escalate quite quickly and i hoped it would have been more of a slow burner but i guess not.
4) Finally, I have to congratulate Stephanie Waring and Amanda Clapham with their acting abilities throughout this storyline as with the material that they got (good or bad) they truly acted their socks off (especially Stephanie, she was always one of my favourites anyway so I'm a bit biased but oh well i think she is brilliant in this storyline).
Sorry for the long (and seemed to be quite formal) post but that is what i think, i am enjoying this storyline but there could be some improvements here and there
I also thought Andrew Moss' reappearance as Rhys Ashworth was a brilliant idea and that saga was played out very well with only showing Rhys' bad side, the side only Cindy knew really.
