He is just so completely dismissive of him tonight it's ugly to watch.

Very ugly, but it's his loss he will never find or deserve another Christopher

Mark is a user. It became clear by his hideous treatment of Christopher that he simply used him as part of his 'journey.'

The user however, is now a loser. GOOD.

He's back peddling like crazy.

Rylan said "There's one thing no-one can take away from you and that's you are a loyal friend". Err, hello? Dismissing Christopher as nothing really, Deciding he'd like £5000 of the extra money for himself and his silly brow bar but not letting on to any of the others, then sitting back and watching the fallout converge on Chris who was perfectly honest about his reasoning and position to everyone. Lying to Helen about his role in putting Ash up for eviction.

Loyal friend my loyal arse.

I always thought he would excuse his relationship with Chris like that , he used him .
Also , Mark quoting Chris almost word for word on his reasons for accepting the £15000.
The wee weasel was caught out and is trying to worm his way out .

Mark is just a despicable little man. He absolutely has no respect for Christopher, just because he wouldn't do what he demanded of him, and he just can't disguise his contempt for him. Saying he wants Helen to win just proves where his loyalties lie, I sooo hope Christopher wins this.

THIS.

Christopher was his ego boost.

Yeah, he's distancing himself from Christopher with unseemly f***ing haste.

It was obvious, I don't know why Christopher couldn't see what was glaring him in the face. I think they were both playing each other anyway.

Awful little user isn't he. On the plus side he's just talked himself out of some nice little joint "relationship' mag deals. Rookie mistake Mark! Without Christopher you are just another evictee and your 15 ,minutes is almost over. Tick tock!

This. It was quite clear it wasn't love on Mark's part, when, quite early on in their "relationship," Mark decided to keep a heap of information secret from Christopher.

Information is power, and Mark wanted to keep Christopher powerless.

Mark tried to use Christopher for an obligatory fauxmance, but came to loathe Christopher, when he heard Christopher get cheers.

Very ugly indeed.

Mark used him for a storyline.

Christopher was always too good for him.
who, me?

I don't agree. I thnk Mark does like and respect Christopher - within the limits of his capability to do so - but i used to think they could make a go of a relationship, now not so sure.

The whole façade of Mark has finally crumbled.

Good HM.
All bloody show though.
Shallow as a dimple on Rylan's.. cheek.

I'd actually go so far as saying he had an attraction to him, but it was al out like he was ashamed of it, and I don't think it was to do with family/sexuality issues.

I think he was genuinely a bit ashamed that he'd paired up with the one that his 'cool' friends had labelled as weird. He was never prepared to stand by their friendship/relationship. He was never prepared to put Christopher first.

He absolutely wanted to keep power and status in their relationship. As much as I loath Steven, he was far more controlling than he ever was.

they would never work in the real world because Mark is all about having a laugh and Christopher is a buzzkill.

I think to be fair, Christopher has back-pedalled slightly too.

Exactly, and he sat every night with Helen and company and back stabbed Christopher

Agreed. Never mentions him. It's either Helen or Mathew he goes on about. Christopher is too good for him.

When Emma asked if they had a future he looked to his friends/family before answering, it was all an act and the answer was definitely no.

I always felt that Mark, and a few others in the house actually, didn't respect Christopher at all. I think they made the mistake that shallow people tend to do: mistake kindness and niceness for weakness.

Mark used him in the house for the male attention and an ego boost, which in itself wouldn't be so bad, if only he hadn't treated Christopher so badly.
