Pepple would rather see someone make a mess of a swiss roll over watching an affair plot. I think a lot of people find soaps depressing and would rather watch something lighter.

Been saying that on here for about three months, the DTC era is heavily supported on here not sure the majority of general public agree

Both of the highest rating episodes were Lucy's death and funeral I think

The actual audience shares for EastEnders are up on 2013. So EastEnders is now attracting more of the available audience when its on air.

The only reason EE ratings suffered this summer was because of sport and schedule changes. Some people won't have that though as it doesn't fit in with their vision of EE being in crisis. Remember all the claims some were making about how EE would hit its all time low ratings this summer? well it never happened.

Hmmm, maybe Tamwar should tell Nancy that he only has 6 months to live, then she confronts him on Christmas Day?

there's still time, and the live figures probably will be. When it hit 3.9m in 2006. The overnights include those who watched before 2am I believe. There's a high chance it achieved 3.4m at 7.30pm then added another 0.5m throughout the night. Should find out on barb next week the live figures.

Which ratings are you expecting to be the lowest? consolidated thesedays included all forms of Sky+ and recordings. That never happened in 2006. I don't recall EE getting lower than 3.94 million recently the only time being a few weeks ago. So it should clear 4 million easy in the officials. It only needs to timeshift 60k

It definitely hasn't achieved its lowest figure officially. What I meant was the 3.94 figure (which went up to 4.59) isn't the live figure. In 2006 without the sky+ and recordings, I would assume the live figure was much closer to the overnight, then it would be these days, where between 0.5m to 1m, watch it later that night instead. that wouldn't have happened in 2006.
