I have always liked Little Mo but why would she unpopular at the end? Because she was raped again and got pregnant by Graham?? Or did viewers turn against her because of Alfie?

I think it was a mixture of both. Tony Jordan said viewers gave up on Mo after Graham raped her because it was too much consistent heartache in one go. Viewers had followed her journey and cheered when she was finally free of Trevor only for that to happen. So it was like a slap in the face and she was back to square one. The rape was only written at the last minute because they needed to write Kacey out as doctors advised her not to work during her pregnancy. The Alfie affair just made her seem tired and stale. Mo is probably the best example of a character who really did just come to her natural end.

Little Mo's last year was tedious. She was suffering Sharon syndrome eg: being an over barring and over protective mother. Freddie, baby Freddie, FREDDDDDDIE

ARGHHHHHHHHHH

Still I wish Kacey had stayed until Diederick Santer came in as I believe he would have saved Mo.

The show will never be the same again but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. Every show has to move with the times and refresh itself. I don't think current EastEnders is the same at any point in the last decade, let alone the last thirty years.

I think people just miss some of the older characters thats all. Its a shame so many of the legends are gone.

Here is another great clip. Same storyline but later in the 90s when nasty bitch Peggy decided Mark was filth and Pauline has something to say about it

Ditto on Lisa and Little Mo. I loved the idea of Lisa turning into the mouse that roared and shooting Phil, then nearly doing it again. And I did give up on Little Mo when she was raped again. It just smacked of plot desperation and there were myriad better ways to write her out.

Great clip, wish Pauline had headbutted the old witch. Love the quiet menace in her voice.

I love these scenes, watched them many times. My favourite part is Mark and Arthur at the allotments when they make up and they share a drink. Two really nice and normal characters who are sorely missed.
