It would appear from the brief research I did a few weeks ago that HD is a trade name. It seems to be one of these numerous cases of people taking something we have all been doing for a while and then packaging it, surrounding it with hype so you can sell people what they have or know already.
The training industry are masters at this selling people back their own skills, under their brand, at a price and calling it accreditation. And simultaneously creating a market by making out that nobody can possibly do a job unless they have had 'their' training and are accredited. Much of it is pure smoke and mirrors.
But at least these have a sort of spurious logic and can be commercially implemented. But if my understanding of an brow bar is correct I just don't see how to make it work operationally. Surely first thing in the morning you would be inundated with customers and then after about 10am would have your resource idle. Unless of course people are happy to spend half a day without eyebrows until they can pop in to get them done later in the day.
To me it looks like another aspect of our avaricious society and the marketing men who fuel it by convincing us we need a lot of unnecessary shit. Its about time someone stood up and pointed out that the Emperor is wearing no clothes.
Ohh errr that turned into a it of a rant didn't it?

Sorry folks
