He claimed before he went into the house that he's never had to work. He's just one of life's lucky b****rds whereby opportunities come to him. He's gotten by on his looks, he tells us... and his laid back, Manc wit.
I think we are seeing it in practise. He's a lazy, nasty, tedious, spineless, sycophant who has sailed his way through to the final. We've seen him laugh at other people's misfortune; when someone is on the receiving end of tirade of abuse, he's there, guffawing with glee.
He's a user. He's blatantly used Helen to gain an advantage and perched himself on her shoulder for the duration but he's not loyal to her-he couldn't wait to kick her out of bed once there was a bed free. He was annoyed with the public making comments reagrding his "relationship" with Helen and couldn't wait to shake that tag off with the "we're just friends" line.
Could he win though? It's not impossible but he doesn't deserve it. As in life, by his own admission, he hasn't earned it. It's just fallen at his feet.
