Everyone's telling her how much she has changed and the journey has made her a better person. She no longer gets chants on a Friday.

Maybe she thinks she is more popular than at the start. I think all the housemates think so.

Helen knows she'll be booed. She was booed going in and expects it will get worse going out. She is nothing if not a realist, and to her credit she's a strong person to be able to deal with it, and all the hate for her on social media.

I had no idea who she was before the series started, and I don't give a fig about her past, but I think it's good that some viewers were able to be objective and see she has friends in the house who insist she has the biggest heart in there, and she has shown herself to be honest and loyal to a fault. Maybe she will get a few cheers on the way out for that.

She is more popular now than she ever has been.
She will take a few boos on the chin and laugh all the way to the bank with her £100,000 cheque.

I wonder why she wanted to do this show at all. Surely not to try to change public opinion of her!?

Remember she has selective hearing. She'll perceive boos as cheers.

No she isn't and no she won't --- she will be the first to be voted out in the final.

The voters like fair play. They will get rid of her first.

She can't hide from it, so she's confronting it head on and getting on with things. Ordinary people do a lot of sleazy things every day, not just escorts. Glass houses and all.

Yes she does. She said of herself that she has always been "a disliked person". She glories in being disliked.

She had a golden opportunity to go in and redeem herself.

Instead she confirmed herself to be a foul-mouthed aggressive vulgar bully.

from what I heard she was a backup for the celeb edition ( wouldn't be the first time they put in a celebrity shagger) It is about the money and the exposure, I don't think she thinks she is going to win (and I sure fire hope she doesn't).

I hope so - then Ash followed by Pav. Don't really mind about the next three but would love Christopher to win

They've all been pretty foul-mouthed and nasty.

However, if she had changed her personality to win public favour she would have been vilified as a fake.

As someone in another post said, Helen's outward aggressiveness looks much worse on tv than other housemates' passive aggressive silent treatment and secret sniping because it's louder and more obvious. But both are still aggressive behaviours. If you asked all the housemates who they'd rather live with I'm fairly certain the majority would choose Helen over someone like Ashleigh.

my guess is that she'll be hoping to get work as a rent-a-gob , a bit like Katie Hopkins (but more shouty and down-market )

I don't think she will. If it was vote to evict then yes, she'd be first out, but it's vote to win. She'll attract the troll vote, and there are some people who claim to like her or that she's been a good housemate. I think she'll be at least fourth, if not better.

I'm all for putting the past behind and moving on, I suspect there are times when most of us would have that wish. However, if Helen wants to get on with things surely the Big Brother House is not the place to do it, the Wayne Rooney story was long forgotten by most and Helen's presence on national TV every night has brought her and her story to the minds of many people who never knew it before.

In answer to the OP's question, I suspect Helen knows she is not liked, she will cope with that. It would be nice to think there is a life lesson for her in all of this, but I sadly doubt that. She has trust issues and seems to trust the wrong people, Ash is a good example, I suspect he won't have much time for Helen after the show. My opinion only of course.

BiB - that's true, but if she'd behaved nicely from the start no one would have been any the wiser about her true personality and she'd probably have done okay. Some people will always hold her past against her no matter what, but the majority have judged her purely on how she's been in the show, and she's been an absolutely horrible person.

I don't agree for one second that people would rather live with a loud, obnoxious, aggressive, ignorant, abusive bully than with someone who is capable of being civil to people they don't like.

Say what you want about Helen BUT I think it says a lot that she has formed strong bonds with Mark and Ash and yet Ashleigh does not really know anyone - she isn't a loyal friend. She never cried when her 'best friend' Danielle left. I prefer someone who is loya, honest and what you see is what you get, rather than some spoilt, bitchy, brat
