'Ice' for a Frozen cake
What do YOU use to make ice for a Frozen cake ?
I have seen that a lot of people melt some clear mints. Do you just put the mints in a pan and gently heat them until they liquify, then pour them onto greaseproof paper, then break them into shards when it solidifies ? |

This is what I would have suggested, although I have never actually done it. I've seen boiled sweets done to make a stained glass window effect, so I imagine that would work.

Or this kind of thing if you don't want mint flavourings as they can be overpowering
