It's interesting to see who the ex-HMs are backing to win the show...

Steven - Helen
Kim - Helen
Mark - Helen
Jale - Helen
Bianca - Helen
Tamara - Helen
Winston - Ash
Toya - Ashleigh
Danielle - Ashleigh (presumably)
Matthew - Christopher

Zoe seems to be supporting Pav or Helen (I think). I'm not sure about Pauline and Marlon.

Helen's overwhelming popularity with the majority of those who got to know her by actually living with her is at complete odds with the general impressions of us the viewers who've only had very brief and selectively edited highlights to go on.

Surely this calls into question the way she's been edited on the show ?

Not really, all that are saying Helen were in the 'Cool crew' and thought that Ashleigh, Chris and Christopher were not good enough to be there.

Not really, as most of those supporting her were already jostling for position to feed from the mothership. It's hardly a surprise, is it?

what that mainly tells me is how unappealing Ash must be, as all the old Helen gang have two to pick from and only Winston has chosen him, he must be even more boring and uncharismatic than the edit has shown

I was thinking about this yesterday. I don't think the production company are telling them who to support or anything like that.

I think, possibly, Helen is a complex character and, unlike us, they have seen all sides to her and understand her much better than we do.

It was one way or the other in the house - you were either in favour with Helen or you weren't. If you weren't life could be uncomfortable, even scary. Most HMs ingratiated themselves with her for their own survival.

Maybe they did learn to like her nicer side - after all, they weren't on the receiving end of her temper. It's not exactly a surprise, even school bullies have friends.

you don't really need to see all sides to her, the one nasty side is horrific enough, all the other sides are really not worth the effort after that.

No, Helen has said some stupid things over the past 9 weeks and she should have known better. That said though, I recall ex-HM's such as Caroline and Bea who had said a few horrible things too, but they didn't have a harsh Northern accent, if they had of done would BB have issued them as many warnings or just simply kicked them out of the house with a lack of a pass to the final? As above, I think Helen has said some stupid things, but her accent doesn't help her either when she is making the comments - sad but it's how I see it. (That's coming from myself who has a strong broad Yorkshire accent).

The answer is no. If anything the editing had been nice to Helen for at least a few weeks somewhere in the middle.

I think what it is with Helen is that if you are friends with Helen then she will back you but if you cross her then she will make you feel so uncomfortable. And then the cycle continues downwards to her friends, anybody who says a bad word about them have to come through Helen first and that includes nominating them. Since everybody backing her was her friend in there it kind of backs up this theory.

While this normally wouldn't be a terrible trait per se, she has such a terrible mouth and a huge amount of venom and aggression in her and it shows her to be a nasty, hypocritical, immature little girl.

Steven, Kimberly, Biannca, Mark, Tamara, Jale.

I place more faith in the opinions of an amoeba with special needs.

We've seen Helen in action time and time again we all saw her nasty personality and her argumentitave ways.....does anyone really believe she's had bad editing....if anything it's been good we've not seen half of her warnings for bad behaviour

You said it much better than me.

She has had a very kind edit. I dread to think what horrors adorn the cutting room floor.

Its hard to believe its unfair editing because the clips of her being abusive and aggressive have not been invented and there are plenty of them. I think birds of a feather flock together. Also I think most all of the housemates went in there with a strong sense of entitlement and over inflated egos. Christopher Chris and asheigh don't really fit the desperate wannabe profiles of the others and were quicly rejected as not cool enough. Toya Danielle and Marlon outright don't support helen so together with those in the house that makes 6 housemates who don't support her v 6 that do.. Zoe is neutral I think ?? and not sure yet on pavs views, so with the other alternatives listed. Its pretty even. I do wonder if Ashleigh has received soft edits because she does not appear popular like she is out here. So hard to say.

The thing is I never found any of them likeable in the beginning and Christopher is the only one who has emerged as a really decent kind of guy for me.
They do say cream always rises to the top

Overal I'd probably be more worried if I was on the same page as those narcissistic pouting selfie seeking fame hounds.

Pauline wrote on twitter she also wants Helen to win.

She is an unfortunate person, she must have had something awful happen to her in her past which has caused her to be this argumentative and horrible.

She's clashed with SO many people in that house - Kimberly, Jale, Toya, Matthew, Chris, Christopher, Ashleigh, Danielle & Pav. She's just not normal!

All the ex housemates were evicted for a reason.

I think they also used special effects to make her face more angry and dubbing to make her voice so ugly and foul mouthed .
