Zoe seems to be supporting Pav or Helen (I think). I'm not sure about Pauline and Marlon.

Helen's overwhelming popularity with the majority of those who got to know her by actually living with her is at complete odds with the general impressions of us the viewers who've only had very brief and selectively edited highlights to go on.

Surely this calls into question the way she's been edited on the show ?”

I reckon it's more a case of support Hel...en or she will sent the boys around when she gets evicted first on finals day and finds out who supported someone else

Whats interesting ? And Winston has changed his tune about Ashleigh since his interview lastnight and since while he was in the house then. Did he ever tell her any of the things he now "apparently" felt about her did he ever nominate her no is the answer. The guy is contradicting himself. If she's horrible he'd have nommed her at some point surely.

Not really interesting all those are pretty much as expected. Kimberly's is funny though Helen honest yeah brutally so she loves to berate again and again.

Agreed. She establishes friendships out of fear - the HMs fear of getting on the wrong side of her and when they see the nicer side of her they probably feel so grateful. And she's loyal to her friends. Strong characters like her seduce weaker characters and keep them faithful by the fear of losing her favour. Only my opinion but I think I can sort of understand that.

A lot of the housemates this year are deluded and bitter. I really wouldn't take anything they say as important or significant.

They can keep telling us that Helen is "misunderstood", they even tried to make a storyline out of it but her real character showed and she is a genuinely really horrible, self centred person.

Being 'hard to live with' is pretty tame really compared to what they could have said about someone the public seems to view as a monster. Not one of them has had a complete volte face as has happened in previous years once public opinion has been gauged or HL footage watched.”

Like walking around on eggshells was one term used.

And i'm sure she says you're hard to live with too at times that's usually the way

Helen's gang probably hold meetings to get their story straight.

So the most unpopular housemates outside the house are supporting the most unpopular housemate inside the house.

It does sound like a support group for unpopular people.

Presumably she's wanting her own son to win ?

It would be no surprise if she dislikes Helen as she's only had the same edit and measly HLs to go on as the rest of us. Maybe if she meets her she'll be able to form a more rounded opinion that might be more in tune with the majority of HMs who know and have lived with her ?

If anything she has been getting a good edit for the past few weeks, Mathew came out and said Big Brother was censoring Helen far more than we first thought, all the warnings she has had and for some reason we have never seen any of them.

I haven't said that, I've just asked the question. The disparity of opinion between ex-HMs and viewers seems so wide, I'm interested as to what the reasons might be. Few seem able to put forward any kind of logical explanation that doesn't stray from personal opinions on the HMs that could have been unwittingly formed by the edit

Nobody has answered the live feed question in this thread - you know, the 'only showing us what they want us to see' mantra and 'the production team telling us who to like and what to think'. Surely the whopping great disparity between HM opinion and public opinion about Helen might support this oft repeated view ? Yet the most cited reason for the need for live feed is now seemingly being discounted in this thread. It seems odd.

Her goal will have been to get headlines in trashy magazines and websites read by people who for some reason put some sort of stock in following the tedious lives of such people.

She has achieved her goal.

So no, she's not been unfairly edited. She's been edited exactly as she will have hoped and expected to be edited, and will doubtless complain about how she was edited as part of the 'package' on her return to 'reality'.

It's a strange coincidence that unpopular HM on the forums are always, without fail, the beneficiaries of a good edit and the forum faves are always the victims of the bad edit. What are the odds of that happening over 25 or so series ? Even without LF this curious coincidence prevails.

I like Helen, always have, since Launch.
There's only been few times I've been disappointed with her, but after a few days I don't mind her again.

But no, she is not having a unfair edit.

The reason I think this is because we see two sides of Helen.
The rude, nasty side.
The fun, caring side.

I think Helen is one of those people who just have changed moods, one minute she can be vile, the next she can be tolerable, and lighthearted.

I think the editing just shows which side she portrays on each day.
If it was unfair editing, we would of only seen the nasty, spiteful side to her, which is not the case.

Surely it's a simple case of "Birds of a feather" nothing more complex than that. All of the house mates listed that support Helen are of a certain 'type' and I think this grouping is confirmation that the edit has been pretty fair and these people were indeed the less savoury characters.

Yes, I think so too.

The opinions of the housemates vs the public are just too different. They are getting the full picture and we are not.

Or just plain scared knowing that one day she'll be out and they will have to face her again

Considering Ashleigh is the overwhelming favourite in the online polls it's very unusual that only 1 out of 13 ex-HMs want her to win. Has this ever happened before ? Is it down to the edit ?”

I think Aaron was nominated by both Faye's sister and her family. Thats pretty unpopular for an eventual winner
