I say this because she isn't a complete idiot. She has heard the crowd reaction to her in the past and is always being voted as trustworthy, best judge of character etc. But she wants to appear humble so she says and I quote "I have like zero chance of winning" complete with hair flick.
She certainly comes across as one of the bitchiest HM so I don't get the popularity myself. Always chatting about people behind their backs.
I am no Helen fan but a fair few times she has said about Helen and a couple of others "So and so isn't going to win (Helen or whoever) so they can be themselves" erm so that doesn't make you sound like a snake at all.....

Ashleigh is playing a great game. Over this length of time it is also clear that she is a genuinely nice girl too.

I would agree with the great game part as she knows she needs to play one as demonstrated.
Nice girl? Nah talking about people behind their backs and stirring up trouble isn't nice but I am sure she will win. After a year we wont care who she is as she is a dull too.

And her game is?

She always needs someone to back her.

Everything that you've just described her as in your post completely contradicts your description of her as boring Also, surely somebody so boring would arouse such feeling as displayed in your post.

How right you are. Though her game wouldn't be nearly as good if she didn't have Helen as the perceived villain. Then she'd just be a boring gossip. And a year from now no one will give a hoot.
