She seems to come from a lovely and down to earth Irish family. Wouldn't surprise me at all she seems far from shallow or money obsessed
She hasn't studied BB enough - Craig 'the tool' Phillips showed us how to win BB1 by saying he was gonna use the money to assist his disabled cousin........jeez-oh, even all those years ago he had the altruism, family-values and disability angles covered.
OP - are you sure she didn't say it was to revive drowned orphaned kittens from Gaza?
PS - HELLen should disclose she'll use it to give her salon a makeover......the anaglypta 1970s wallpaper looked bare as it was crying out for a set of 3 flying ducks.

Well done Ashleigh better than blowing £10,000 on a four day holiday in Spain, but keep some for your self as you will need a holiday yourself when you get out 
Brilliant!! The thing is she actually will do this if she wins - it's not all false hot air nonsense, she is a genuinely nice girl and will spend the money wisely

As much as I didn't want him to win, he did actually use the money for that, and he didn't reveal that's what he was using the money for until AFTER he won.

I did watch BB1 and recollected differently - I can't remember the other names (of housemates) but he told at least 3 I watched on live-feed (not in a stand-up and declare type of way as they didn't do that in BB1, but in a 'this is my plan' sort of way). It was repeated as highlights.
The fact that she was waiting by the exit suggests Endomol had listened too to give all a 'happy ending'

Well all family and friends were by the exit and he was obviously close to her. I didn't have live feed at the time, if it was in the HLs then everyone I know who watched it at the time (a lot) obviously missed it. He also only won by only 2% which is surprising if his intentions for the prize money were widely known.
Regardless, he still did use the prize money for that, so it's not like he simply said it as a ploy to win and didn't follow through.

Fair enuf point - I can't remember who/if I wanted someone else to win in preference to Craig anyway! Don't think I was in fan/hater thought process in any way - just intruiged by the thing as new!

A BB superfan will correct me if wrong I'm certain, but don't think they had multi-feeds (select camera) until later

He didn't say it to his wee cousin herself as he'd been locked in a house with 0 outside contact. But I knew, Endemol knew, the public knew - hence the 'emotional reunion' just outside the door with the deserving young lady when he told her she was going to America which we'd all heard about via the live feed/highlights and knew about.
