Has anyone else noticed their BT YouView box has suddenly started crashing randomly?

I've been using mine trouble-free for just over a year, but the other evening it spontaneously crashed during the BBC weather forecast. I hadn't pushed any buttons for some time, and no recordings were scheduled around that time. It emitted a brief pulse of white noise on the sound, the picture garbled for a tiny fraction of a second then went black. The box was totally frozen and I had to switch off the mains switch at the rear and switch it back on again to recover it.

The same thing appears to have just happened again. The box had been left on, tuned to BBC ONE HD. When I switched the TV on, I had the same black screen, no sound and completely unresponsive box. Again I had to power cycle it to bring it back to life.

I hope this isn't a trend forming

And it's just happened again for a third time.

Same as before - completely frozen, no response to any buttons on remote or front-panel. Screen black, no sound.

Mine crashes approx every 10 minutes. Numerous factory resets performed. One engineer couldnt find anything wrong. 2 hours after he leaves it crashes again. New box arriving Saturday after it crashes 11 times in 3 hours tonight! Given to trying to watch a whole programme!
