True - it's not so much I'm not getting early access. It's the feeling of rejection

When I was in the 360 beta it would crash my machine 2/3 times a day! 😫

(So maybe it's for the best I'm not in the program lol ... saves me sending angry txts to majornelson & xbox support!) 😇

Perils of a beta. I never got into the 360 beta but the X1 hasn't been that bad. A few niggles here and there but no crashes.

I haven't forgotten about you guys either. Keep sending requests in about once a week.

I did an invite for you when I tried again for the other guy. Once ms release the recent software to everyone I will try again. Maybe being apart of the preview has caused problems, I don't know>

1900 mb update today, is this a new preview for November?

Whens the proper October update fired out for us non-preview-program folk? 😇

October's still in preview, so perhaps it's been a more buggy one like August was.

That update was an odd one out. They must've added something somewhere, normally they're less than 4-500mb. It blasted through until about 1500mb then ground to a crawl.

Mine has been a bit buggy for this month. My friends tab keeps dropping off the 'menu bar' and sometimes it won't load the store and other times my pins disappear.

Anyway, another invite sent out for people. Included Hellstorm and FF as well.

Has your X1 ever froze needing a mains plug switch off as a result of the preview program? 😳

Not so far. A few issues with not reading discs and such at first. It's been pretty stable for me up until the last update. Although the issues are just annoyances rather than actual problems.

But I generally power cycle it once a week. Don't know if it actually helps with anything, it's more of a habit these days.

& the dashboard updates happen while the systems on standby so you don't even notice them? ... I'm cool with that! 👍

The only bug that continues to annoy me is one that's been present for more than one update now: "Your Kinect is ready to setup..."

IT IS ALREADY SET UP!

95% of the time yes. But this last one happened after I had been on the dash for a good 5 mins. Was just about to launch Horizon and the update screen appeared.

I have had to do a fair whack of hard resets but it has been behaving itself recently

To do a hard reset -

Hold down the power button on console
Light on power brick will flash orange then turn back to white
Continue to hold down the power button for 20-30 secs until it turns orange again
Leave for 5-10 secs then turn on

It seems to fix all the worlds problems
