deleting app caches on ipad mini

Hi is there an easy way to do this, for example my echofon app, is 17.3mb size but it's documents and data is 64,2mb, napster is 56.b but 147mb documents and data, which is a lot more then it is on my google nexus 7, even though i've used it a lot more.

Do the caches clean on themselves, or is there a way you can do them manually?

I think the iPad looks after itself, although that other files does seem to get bigger and bigger.

You can clean out Safari manually.

The simplest option is to delete the app and re-install.
