Don Ches should be revealed to being the man sending booze into the prison for Jim's dealings, as part of his grand scheme on expanding his operations to the Wider Weatherfield.

It will make sense as Chesney hasn't been seen much recently, so maybe he has been up to dodgy dealings at the Kebab shop. When Peter is behind on the payment, Ches threatens the Barlow's at No.1 to cough up and has Peter beaten up by his men in prison.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit Nath. It looked a quality bit of tipple what Jim gave to Peter so it had to come from someone running an upscale firm like Ches.

Don Chesione has a couple of prison officers on his books.

Now that I think about it Jim is probably Don Chesniones right hand man so he is. If Ches has someone less hard like Jim stood next to him it only makes himself look more intimidating.

Could be the beginning of a storyline, placebo alcohol. lol . It would be realistic too.

I clicked into this thread by accident earlier on, and genuinely can't stop calling Chesney "Don Cheslione" because of it.

Ches-Lee-Own-Lee I think, or in stereotypical Italian: Pizza-Pasta-Mama-Mia-Own-Lee.

A mate of mine pronounced it wrong once, and in front of the Don himself no less. Let's just say he enjoys his meals these days through a straw from the comfort of his wheelchair.

Les Dennis is also connected she pretends to not like him but they are working together to supply drink to Jim and to con Gail Platt for every penny.

A serious question, how do you actually smuggle booze into prison?

They have also been known to smuggle drugs in. I suspect it means some of the prisoners are slightly more "docile" than they would normally be
