Makosi was an excellent villain, she kept everybody inside and outside of the house guessing on so many things. Voted for her, though I think many others were great too.
Nick didn't deserve the backlash he got, it wouldn't be anywhere near as bad as that if that happened now.
Realised from other threads it might be BEA, but calling her 'best' is wrong. Maybe Rex for Stage Villain or Charley Uchea or even our Helen.....Nasty Nick set the mould, but this year's Pauline might rate as a Villain in Disguise along with Classic Carole--HMs who screwed most of the series. Too complex a topic to decide, really, but nice debating point! Thanks!! x
I would think Pauleen no?!?
The woman had no likeable qualities and was VILE during her Big Brother experience.
Not only was she vile but she was so influencial in other people moods in the house.
She manipulated and bullied her way through the group.
There's a difference between Bitch and Villain.
Pauleen was a villain... The majority of people in the poll were bitches!
Chose Victor as he's the only one on that list who was likeable as well as being a villain. I didn't see enough of Nick in BB1 as I wasn't into BB until series 2 but the Nick I saw in the best of series seemed pretty weak.
I think a BB villain is different to a nasty person. Pauline, Helen and Saskia were all unpleasant people, and I think the word 'villain' makes their actions a bit more 'panto'.
Good villains for me were Rex and Makosi. It was all a bit tongue in cheek and they played the Baddie well.
Nasty Nick got a book out of it. No-one else is doing that. I don't remember a lot of these people and didn't watch all the Big Brothers but I would cite three categories
- People who are intentionally playing a game and employ some nasty traits in order to do so. They go in there kinda wanting to be the villain. They might not be actually remotely nasty people in their main character traits underneath some of the things they do though.
- People who have (sometimes extremely) negative personality traits and can be deemed villainous on the outside world but aren't intentionally so and also have positive traits.
- People who seem to ONLY display negative personality traits and usually are completely unable to see they are ever in the wrong or to listen to or understand anyone else's point of view ever... but they often again aren't intentionally being villainous.
I often quite like people in the first two categories. I never like anyone who is truly (in my opinion) in category 3.
