PAYG O2 international bolt on
I'm going to Paris tomorrow and want to use the O2 international bolt on for 4 days.
I've got a SIM card which is yet to be registered. My understanding is that I need to top up for a PAYG £10 deal which gives me 30 days of UK minutes, texts, mobile. Do I need to add another £10 top up for the bolt on? Do I need to do anything to activate it or just start using it? I know i get 50mb allowance on data, do I get 4g or is it limited to 3g. What I want to do is just use the £10 top up voucher I have and not have to use another £10. Is that possible? |

What bolt-on are you referring to?
O2 have 2 generally available tariffs 1 = O2 Unlimited with cheap international calls from UK to overseas You keep your top-up credit with this tariff. 3G only. 2 = Big Bundles (3 different varieties) These are in exchange for your top-up. The £15 and £20 versions give 4G. None of these allowances can be used abroad. See O2 travel for roaming prices. |

I want the travel blot on, it's 1.99 a day for use abroad and for PAYG you get 50mb. I will be using it abroad for Internet mainly and a couple of calls back to uk
Just to note - if you have a Vodafone PAYG SIM they do 100MB for £2 a day in Europe on PAYG with EuroTraveller. |

Ah I see. If it's an O2 unlimited SIM then when you top-up £10 you will get unlimited O2 to O2 texts and 50MB data for a month and you will keep the £10 credit, which you can then use for O2 Travel.

What happens when I use the service in Paris,I expect to be charged 10 a day. This i means I need to top up another 10? Or can I lose the deal you described and just use my voucher for the bolt on.

The free O2 texts are just a free thing you get. The £10 credit will stay there for as long as the SIM is active. So no you won't need to top-up another £10.
