Okay, well I'm not really sure where Arran's gone but I would strongly suggest that he makes a case for why he should not be fired if he sees this.

I'll ask you two to do the same, taking into account both this task and the whole process, why should I not fire you? I'm going to make a decision after this, so make sure you defend yourself well...

I'm here now. My WiFi but down. I shouldn't e fired becaus I put so much consideration into this task. Shadi said I did the minimum, but I think I didn't. I did everything I had to, but I put in a lot of time, effort and thought. I may have been indecisive but it was because I wanted a better choice. I wanted the best we could do and I stand by everything.

This is my first apprentice game, and I have thoroughly put my all into every task but the art one, as I wasn't able to. I really push for what I believe is the best decision, not just to save my back. So I take credit for everything I've done wrong. Indecisive, misconstruing the poster, etc. But, I also hope you see what I have done. One of the viewers (Katie?) said she liked our marketing - that was me. We may have been focusing on the artist too much, but if they flop in their own country - they're bound to flop in the competition.

I will always do what I believe is best. And if that's me going? That's your decision. But I won't sit around and agree with the PM so they won't criticise me in the boardroom. I will do everything I can to improve what we've done. I've got this far for a reason (I hope) and I really hope you can see that and save me.

This was a close task, and I hope you really see I'm willing to prove my place here next week if you save me.

I believe honestly Shadi should be fired. He said to me, after we completed everything he wished I had gave him more than the tour. Why did he not say so before?

He said he wished he could've had more creative freedom: say so and I would've said to come up with what you want by 11 today!

He wanted unrealistic marketing. He wanted her to be a face of a brand. He wanted her to have a whole artistic theatrical performance with cheating and her being chained up which would diverge from the aspect. And I integrated this by using his flames idea with the two. He also wanted her to become a famous YouTube vlogger?

Shadi is a good contestant, great in fact. But when on the task he doesn't speak up. He complains in the boardroom but what good is that? It's too late by then to do anything. And anything he would've suggested extra we could've done. But he didn't. I may be the PM, but I am not the only one who should have ideas!

Well, in the last 6 tasks, I have almost always been one of, if not the, strongest member of my team.

On the first task, I was described as the star of the team by the PM and the adviser alike.

On the second task, we were working without a PM and yet I still found half the items and it was my flight that gave us the victory.

One the third task, I was the creative force behind our application and I was also called the strongest member of my team that round.

On the fourth task, yes, we lost, and I was on the hot-seat, but I had provided a very good screenplay, and the responsibility of that loss fell on a number of different shoulders because the problem was in the integration of my script INTO the British Film Industry, which was not my fault as I had never suggested that it would work in the British Film Industry. So, given the right industry (Hollywood), my script would've won us the task maybe. Also, I had my finals exam that period and I still came to work with zest. So, I was still, in my opinion, a strong member of my team despite that glitch.

Last task, I led my team into the biggest win thus far. It wasn't really close, and it was a crystal-clear, pitch-perfect showing by my team and it really portrayed me as not only a great team player, but also a great leader. And it was a great rebound from the fourth task which was a hit to my momentum.

And this round, I did everything I was asked plus some. It was a task that I really had NO information or background knowledge about, yet I still nailed my parts and I still wanted to help in other aspects of the task, as I have in previous tasks.

So I feel like my very strong showing thus far, coupled with my creativity and hard work definitely makes me deserving to stay.

Shadi, do you have anything to say in response to this?

Throughout pretty much all of the tasks, i have consistently been praised for my improvement that i have shown in terms of availability, voicing my opinions, creativity and commitment and dedication to this process.

In Task 1, i was the most available candidate and contributed some large pieces of the pitch. I was able to partly come up with parts of the winning idea showing my creativity and i felt i had a good performance. Following that, i was praised for my PM skills in Task 2 while also proving a valuable member in the search objective, finding 5 items out of the 10 with some being able to undercut the other teams and hence be the cheapest across both teams.

Since then, i have shown creativity ; The Safe app was my idea and all the expansions that we added on to that, plus a large part of the plot of Sharo was my original invention again showing that i can think and create in a number of different scenarios. I have also shown myself that any task, i will put in 100%. Art isn't really my forte but i still managed to find an artist and pieces of work that i empathise with resulting in my pitch for that task being given a positive response, something i thought, before this task, would be impossible as i am not really an arty person but that shows i am willing to put in the research and work to win these tasks and ultimately this competition.
This task, i was able to do what was asked of me and even come up with some fashion designs so it suited the performance and act, something extra which i was not told to do emphasizing how much i want to do.

Up until this task, i have been as available as can be, only this task there were complications with my Skype but i still was dedicated enough to go to internet cafes to participate and contribute in the discussions which i did more than. I am an extremely hard worker and i do not want this process to end for me yet ; i still have more to show of myself and i am dedicated and motivated enough to carry on this process because it does mean a lot to me.

First of all, I came to you last night and asked you, is there anything you want me to do and help you with, and you said no. To which I replied, I wish you could've given me more than the tour to do because I really like to contribute as much as I possibly can. That was ONE DAY before the task was over. It was not in the eleventh hour.

Then, when we were discussing PR, I was suggesting ideas. Care to mention that you completely ignored the social media aspect of our campaign? And after I took care of that, I told you that any brand endorsement would help her, especially if she was a former model. It would not have hurt. I also suggested that she have her own channel on Youtube, JUST LIKE THE VLOGGERS (not suggesting that she should be a vlogger), where she could take people backstage to her concerts and just give them a glimpse of her life, so that she can grow a fanbase that feels like they know her for who she is and would just fiercely vote for her when the time comes.

As for the performance, after you shut down my first idea, I had more, and when I tried pitching, you told me to stop because you already like what we have.

At the end of the day, we didn't lose because I suggested a different performance, nor did we lose because I had marketing plans in mind that you personally didn't approve of. Those weren't part of the task. WE did lose, however, because you lost focus, you were indecisive, you were disorganized, and you were a micromanager. You were not an effective project manager, and as someone who was a huge fan of Eurovision, as you mentioned, and how that was "your task" and "the closest a task can get to be in your wheelhouse", you dropped the ball. I don't know what Eurovision is about, yet I did a better job than you this task. I respect your desire to stay, but you're just pulling at straws.

You said you wished I had given you more. After the tasks were completed. If you wanted more you should've just suggested what you wanted to do!

And I hardly feel you can say who did a better job than who that is just cocky if I'm honest.

Hmm, okay.

Arran, I do feel like there's a possibility you've been scapegoated purely due to the fact that you were PM. Whilst you may have been responsible for certain aspects that lost your team the task, you were also responsible for many aspects that I thought were really good and amongst the best work produced in this task. After the disappointing performance last task I wanted you to step up this task so I'm glad you decided to be PM, and whilst there were clear faults in what you did you clearly put a lot of passion and effort into this task. The question is, is it too little too late?

Naruto, you've been consistently good throughout the process and there's no denying that. My only issue with you is I'm not sure you stand out as well as some of the other candidates do. Even in this boardroom I feel like you've been a little low key and the way you come across makes it seem like you lack the passion that other players have. We're getting towards the end of the competition now, do you have what it takes to really stand out amongst the others? I'm not sure.

Shadi, I know you think you've been a strong candidate and I would agree with you. However, I do get conflicting views regarding you from other candidates and viewers alike. People have stated to me before that you have an attitude problem, and whilst you have shown high levels of creativity I think you have a tendency take it a bit far and come up with ideas that aren't really feasible. I'm just not really sure what my stance is on you at times...

Overall, my decision is...

The task was completed last night. And after we were done, I asked if there was anything else I can do. You seem to think that once we checked off all the requirements, that our task was over. I thought we were doing some things as a group, like the PR, or the performance. The thing about you is, you just delegated on the spot and it caught me by surprise sometimes. I thought after I finish the tour, we'd discuss some other aspects, but you told me it was all done. So I'm like okay, I'll take a look. I noticed glitches in the PR, and I told you about them. I suggested different performances, and I suggested different marketing approaches. I could've sat back and did nothing, but as Niall has seen from me, and as all the PMs have seen, I tend to finish my job and help someone else with theirs because this is a team, and I don't care about wh ogets the credit in the team as long as we walk out victorious. You obviously have a different philosophy. And I think your inability to rebuttal my criticisms towards you shows that I am right.

I won't respond to your last remark because it's just you trying to win some points for yourself. I think when anyone defends himself in the boardroom and says that X should be fired, he is clearly implying that he did a better job than X, so does that make every single contestant in apprentice history "cocky"?

The cocky part is because you basically said you were better than me! That isn't your call to make and really shows a bad respect towards your fellow contestants! I would NEVER say I was better than someone else, because I know that it isn't my place to say so. And you did reply anyway

Arran, you're fired.

Unfortunately, whilst you showed more evidence of passion and dedication for the process than I've seen from you in the past, I think that we have to take the whole process into account at this late stage of the competition and I don't think you match up to the two candidates beside you, all things considered. Whilst lots of the work you produced this task was good, it was mostly your work that lost your team the task I do feel that you ultimately have to take blame for the failure of this task. Thank you for taking part and I hope you have enjoyed your time in the competition, well done on making it this far.

Shadi and Naruto, you are safe but I would like you to take what I said in my previous post into account for the next task, we're getting towards the last stages in the competition now so this really is the part where you need to start proving yourselves as potential winners.
