Since DTC was introduced, we have been given some truly gripping SL's. Of course, the mystery surrounding Lucy Beale's death, with twists and turns from every corner, exits and returns, and also, the chance for Adam Woodyatt, Ben Hardy, Diane Parish etc to be at the centre of the show leading up to the 30th Anniversary.

We've also had the storytelling of Carol's breast cancer. This, for me, has been heartbreaking.Bianca and Sonia have rallied around Carol to support her through this time in her life. And, whilst Bianca may have made idiotic mistakes, and Carol made the decision to leave David, these choices have been out of the producer's hands, as I'm thinking that her mistakes may link in with her, and her family's exit storyline.

We've been given the Carters, as well, and they have been an instant hit as popular additions to the Square. Whilst some may argue that they have been over-used and are a 'borefest' to watch, I, for one am thoroughly enjoying the recent additions. We've had Johnny coming out to Mick and Linda struggling to accept it, Shirley being Mick's mum, Lee's knowledge of the night Lucy died, and the many secrets and lies of The Carter Family.

Viewers have also been treated to Sharon's plot to revenge against Phil, some heartbreaking, yet incredible Slater business, A tale of twists and turns involving Nick, Charlie,Dot and Yvonne. Some other great storylines include; Ronnie and Carl, Ronnie and Aleks and also Stacey,Janine,Kat,Alice and Michael.

We've also got some great storylines to come, including:

•The continuation of The Who Killed Lucy Beale murder saga
•Sharon and Phil's wedding/Shirley and Phil's affair/Sharon's revenge
•The Slater house fire
•Shabnam's secret
•Nasty Nick's return
•The continuation of the Carol's breast cancer storyline
•The reveal of Shirley being Mick's mum
•Sylvie arriving
•Stacey,Jane and Ronnie's return and her pregnancy
And Lots More!!

And no doubt many more surprises, returns, exits, twists and turns!
All I have to say is; it's going to be one hell of a Winter!

Many thanks.

It's been quite good so far and I'm loving the returns, but the last few weeks I've been finding it really boring and the Carter's are beginning to annoy me too. Hoping it picks up soon.

I'm sure heading towards the Autumn/Winter it will pick up again soon.

I'm sure it will. I actually cannot wait for Nick Cotton's return and Dot finding out he's still alive. I have a feeling it will be classic Eastenders.

The Carters are getting on my wick, but I put that down to them having so much air time at the minute. I hope it all gets better soon.

I am in some ways dreading it. I hope that he's not portrayed as the panto villain like he was last time.
