My bad remembered reading she was coming into it, thought it was to play emma barton, but someone in another post just rightly corrected me that shes already playing tracy. Shows how much i pay attention, didnt recognise her at all!

She's already in the show atm, she's playing the girl living with Robbie who's conning Sam, can't remember the characters name. It's odd hearing hear her speaking voice is almost identical to her sisters (Kimberly Walsh)

Kate Oates confirmed in an interview yesterday that they haven't found someone suited to the role just yet.
On a similar note, Hollyoaks missed a treat by not having Sinead O'Connor (now Roscoe but probably only until next January) played by Sinead O'Connor. I don't know whether singer Sinead has had any acting experience, and she is quite a bit older tha character Sinead or actress Stephanie Davis.
My vote is for Tracy-Ann Oberman to Play Emma Barton.

Cindy Marshall-Day would be ideal. She played Tracey Booth in Crossroads and would bring some much needed sophistication to Emmerdale. She's also be the right age to be a believable mother character.

Saw her in 'Siblings' last week and remembered how great she is! Would love her regularly back on the screen like this again! Would need her to be a proper bitch though, like EVIL stepmother territory.
