She wasn't really in the McQueen SL's tbh. Even though she was the first McQueen cast she was always a spare weel and it's like they didn't know what to do with her. IMO she was always the weakest link in the McQueen family.

She hooks up with someone, they are the love of her life and she'll never cheat again (Russ, Mal, Riley, Paul). then she cheats, does some terrible things that usually involve her treating ehr only family like shite, they disown her, shes down on her luck for all of a week, family forgive her, she comes into cash, all is forgiven....AND REPEAT.
If anything she has got worse. Helping cover up the murder of the original Lindsey. She treats her friends awful too.
And she never ever gets any comeuppance. She shot Grace recently and got away with it. I wish Grace had of reported her.

I have no idea why anyone likes her. The character needs to sufficiently change or leave.

I think you missed the pointer's point. Since Silas attack, she hasn't been like that. She didn't cheat on Paul. She hasn't been treating her family like shite since Myra's departure, their interests have been at their heart and she tried hard to get their house back. She could have ran off with the lottery money, but she didn't.

I agree, she's much more likeable these days, and even seems interested in Carmel and her happiness

I'm sorry but overall she hasn't changed that much and she isn't likeable. She is tedious and there are many who cannot stand her and wish she'd leave. Her time is up.

I feel your pain. Teresa is another ditzy trollop who needed to leave. But because the actress failed to set the world on fire with her skating she comes skulking back. I really wish we could lose all the McQueens, bar JP and Phoebe, they are tired. Jacqui was the only decent one.

Right Cindy stole her money. Would you be nice to friend that tried ripping you off over a few GRAND. And Hilter Lindsey tries dictating what she can and can't do regarding Freddie. So personally I don't blame her. Yea the characters a bitch but her heart is in the right place.

I mostly just see all of these problems as being a result of the show's horrible treatment of characters and relationships though.

Like with Tony for example, even with the rush job that occurred with reigniting his and Jacqui's old relationship last year to give her exit emotional drama, the history was already there and it was an incredibly meaningful and touching few weeks. Nick and Claire were amazing together. And Tony then even got a cancer storyline that started off very well and was material worthy of Nick, so things were good.
But now, after they went so far as to retcon history to make out he and Diane had met when they were kids to try and make us buy they were soulmates, what was the point, when they were just going to turn Diane into a huge bitch and have Tony and Sinead 'fall in love'? What's the meaning of anything if they don't let anything last? If anything can be sacrificed for the sake of the OMG?

With Ste and Sinead, even with how rushed and non-existent the development of their friendship was, it happened at a better time than where the show is now, and with how well Kieron and Steph work together with the right material, and with the history they have together with supporting each other through the death of Ste's mom and Sinead's daughter Katy, I find it hard to find their relationship unbelievable. Because it isn't unbelievable.

It's just too bad the show's gotten to such a terrible state and has to do things like have them believe they had drunken sex and mishandle their relationship for so long with petty bullshit for drama's sake.
