I concur.
Patrick is being nursed in bed, we can therefore assume he is unable to mobilise; we know he is unable to speak. Prior to his stroke he was a fit and active man therfore every effort would be made by the NHS to get him well on his way back to that. Where is the specialist nurse practioner or the rehab unit? Patrick would have been moved to rehab for exactly that rehab! There would be multidisciplinary meetings before any discharge and the family are involved in this. If his stroke was so dense that there was no hope of rehab this would be discussed at length with family and the care team and a care package set up. This is a ridiculous self serving story line that just scaremongers joe public and paints the NHS in a bad light
