Poor old Trevor. His fishes lie with the fishes and he gets blamed for a rape. He's only a big dumb teddy.

I agree I just saw the scene, I think it was a badly written and delivered line. I don't think JP was trying to say Trevor raped him, I think he was responding to what Ste said about appearing intimidated the day before. I think what that was supposed to mean is it wasn't Finn that intimidated me yesterday it was Trevor.

I agree we won't hear another word about Trevor.

Maybe your right, watching that scene it did sound like JP said that Trevor raped him though. I remember watching that and thinking WTF?!?!?! Hopefully your right and that JP meant that Trevor was the one who intimidated him and not raped him. If that's the case then it's poor script writing on Hollyoaks part. We know it will all be forgotten anyway as Finn goes on to attack Nancy soon.

I agree but I wish he hadn't blamed Trevor for it. I guess also he didn't want Ste to do anything stupid so even though Ste worked out the truth, he lied and covered it up again.

Yes, John Paul wasn't saying it was Trevor who had raped him, he was saying it was Trevor who had terrorized and upset him in the alley before Ste had turned up. Ste's reaction would have made no sense whatsoever if JP had said Trevor had raped him. Also, JP would have to have a death wish to say that Trevor - of all people - had raped him.

I really wish it was made clearer than that. Everything's so rushed, even the conversations aren't making any sense. It makes a lot more sense now. I wish my parents had sky or something to record or rewind

I understand why JP said it wasn't Finn. Ste finds out and his first reaction is to kidnap Finn and threaten to kill him - not to discuss it with JP or try to convince JP to go to the police, but to handle things in his own Ste way. If JP admits it was Finn, Ste may very well end up doing something to Finn and end up in prison. JP doesn't want that for Ste.

It does annoy me that the Nico/Sienna relationship has not been explored more. Now we're just jumping straight to who's-the-dad, however it is something that Nico would ask pretty soon, being the age she is and the fact that she finds her mum to be a bit of a 'fruitloop'.

I actually believed Sienna's story about Nico's dad, there was something about it that was believable. Sienna got her heart broken, and that's not something HO have touched upon with Sienna, she didn't really ever seem to care about Darren - just the ready-made family he had. She's not had any proper love interests, she's been on our screens for almost 2 years and not had any proper feelings for anyone - unable to get past her first love would explain a lot.
However there were holes in the story that even Nico should have noticed. Nico was born and Sienna believed she was dead, yet when Nico's dad came back from the army he didn't want anything to do with Sienna or her daughter, but wouldn't Sienna have already told him she was dead? Also, I struggle to believe Patrick would have let her have any contact with him after he found out this lad (who by the sounds of it was 16+) got his young daughter pregnant.

Its on YouTube. You know I think James Sutton probably blew the line. Which is not surprising, since they are filming 5 episodes a week and they tried to compress too much dialog into that short scene. If they had drawn the kidnapping scene out and then put the disco scene with Ste in tomorrows episode it all would have made sense.

It was ridiculous how it was done, ste was kidnapping Finn one minute and partying the next. Seriously, how much happens in one day?? I don't even change out of my pyjamas before Ste kidnaps someone!

They do try to do too much in my opinion, these actors would be exhausted if they didn't disappear for three weeks.

This rape storyline has lost all dramatic tension, what with everything else going on. The only other person really linked to the story now is Robbie and maybe Nancy but their minds are elsewhere. As Danny and Sam were quite strongly linked to the rape in different ways, the show has killed off the storyline's dramatic potential.

What a stupid episode this one was.

For a start, Sienna's obvious lie about the "father" was totally unbelievable. The writers who wrote that, completely re-wrote the story of Sienna, the 13/14 year old who had a baby that died shortly after birth!

Not only did they re-write Sienna's past with that lie, they gave Nico amnesia too. Nico knows that Patrick lied to Sienna that her baby died at birth.

Then to go on and say "he wanted nothing to do with me or you". Errr, no you thought your baby was dead, you had no idea your child was alive. Not only that, Nico was put up for adoption!

Sienna's character is good at lying, the writers were just being very lazy sloppy with that one.

Also, if the "father" in the lie went into the army and to war, what was the age gap between him and Sienna? Don't you have to be 18 before you go to war? Sienna gave birth at 13/14 (cant remember which).

Don't even get me started on the rape storyline, how fast Ste has recovered from the loss of his father and being in a coma and cheating on JP! The less said about the boring gangster stuff, the better.

Ste's life is so eventful. Dead parents, being a murder suspect, drug dealing, drug addiction, suicide attempts, kidnapping, one-night stands, partying (during the day as well!). All in the space of a few months.

I don't know how he does it.

Sienna's story is nonsense but I can't tell if that's her lying, or the writers being stupid. Probably the latter. The dad wanted nothing to do with us. But you yourself thought the baby was dead and didn't find out the truth until a few weeks ago. Just make the dad Jack Osborne and be done with it.
