With the (kind of) recent-ish revelation in EastEnders revealing that Ronnie Mitchell is up' the duff, it has not yet been confirmed who the daddy is. Whilst many fans were automatically presuming that the father is in fact Charlie Cotton, it is not confirmed yet. Although, I am one of many hoping that both Ronnie and Charlie have a baby on the way for three reasons. One reason being is that, from what we've seen on screen, both Ronnie and Charlie suit each other, as they both seem to have a dark side about them, but not necessarily being villains. Another other reason is, that we would have a Mitchell -Cotton baby! If it survives, that is, which brings us to point three, which is Ronnie Mitchell deserves some happiness in her life! She has experienced it all. Shortly after finding out that she had a daughter, Dannielle, Dannielle died after being hit by a car, driven by Janine. Also, her and Jack's baby; James died from cot-death, leading to Ronnie swapping Kat and Michael's alive baby, Tommy and tricking them into thinking that Tommy had died, not James. Ronnie pleaded guilty to this, and then served two years in prison. Also, if you didn't know, New Years Day 2014, Veronica brutally murdered Carl White in self-defence. So, let's keep this beloved baby hidden away where nothing can go wrong. Oh wait, this is EastEnders, so let's give birth in the most strangest of places, notice them once a month, and leave it with a murderer at the age of two weeks!

I would also be interested in hearing your thoughts on who you would like/who you think the father to/will be, if it's not Charlie. My thoughts are: Alfie or Aleks.

It's usually best btw to state which soap you are talking about in the title if you are going for the ambiguous route so fans of other soaps don't wander in by mistake.

I have no doubt that Charlie is the father, I think Ronnies pregnancy dill put the kibosh (sp?) on his plans

I think it's Charlie's. I hope it is anyway, that's quite an important character for the next generation of EE, linking the Cottons and Mitchells together, giving Dot a link to the future, and two evil grandfathers to boot.

Or Sharon Marshall meant Charlie Slater.....
