I think it's great. I don't think we should be in the mindset that everything should happen now, now, now. Sometimes it takes much longer than 10 months in real life, and this storyline is reflecting that.

And I don't think it's draging it out either. It's provide constant, fresh twists and turns. And it isn't been rammed down our throats either. Sometime it just exists to hang in the background, which is also effective.

I guessed Stacy was Archie's killer in early January 2010. I am 100 % certain that I know who killed Lucy and I have rewatced episodes from her death up until her funeral etc. I am even a bit hesitant to post up here who it is as I don't want to spoil it. That is how certain about this.

Some people have no patience these days.

I didn't think I'd like a story about NuLucy that lasted so long, but I'm really enjoying it. I don't think story length matters if what's being shown is enjoyable, watchable, and keeps me guessing. Unlike Kat's Shagger, which was shorter and much shittier.

Exactly! Finally someone understands. Because it is REALISTIC. Obviously EastEnders is not the most realistic, it could be a lot more, but that would be boring! However, Hollyoaks is our another extreme, stunt after stunt. But, real-life murder/police cases can take over two years, or more, take Madeleine Mcanne(I don't know how you spell it.) for example. Let's have a spot of realism!

Many thanks.

Exactly. Kat's shagger was shit. For me it had no twists, turns or surprises. I guessed Derek was the shagger. Eww. Lol! Making me think...things..

It's just unfortunate I don't give a damn about Lucy whatsoever, Peter's monotone delivery is putting me right off him, and Ian's grief whilst very raw from Woodyatt is starting to wear a bit thin. It is dragging.

it's a slow burn story
