I have been very suspicious of Masood from day one, your theory is not bad at all, him trying to help out ian at that resteraunt, disappearing for ages, having a darker side, it makes sense!!!

I think it is going to be a Beale because they said the reveal will be emotional but understandable didn't they?

It doesn't necessarily mean a Beale, though. It could be Lauren, who Peters been getting close to again. It could be Denise, it could be Jane, who are all a part of the family. It could be Mick, Phil or Sharon, who are supposed to be Ian's friends. It'll be emotional, but it doesn't mean it's a Beale. |

Spoiler
but that's an awful lot of drama off screen so we would need a flashback episode...

they will not go down the route of having it being Ben or Nick Cotten like people suggested as it is someone who was featured in the episodes as Stacey was on Christmas day 2009. I will post it up tomorrow as I am tired now and will have a lot to type in terms of evidence etc.
![]() No matter how "certain" you think you are, it's not a spoiler and it isn't "certain". |

Peter and Jane sounds more likely than Mas and Jane. But don't forget that the drug addicted prostitute that would do anything for drugs or money leaves at the same time the reveal happens.

I still believe it's Ronnie/Charlie. There was that ambiguous exchange with her and Charlie in the Vic in the Good Friday episode. If I recall correctly, he followed her out of the pub too. I just found it an odd thing to include in the episode when they haven't even shared scenes together since (not to my recollection anyway).
My theory is that on the night they killed Lucy and dumped her body on the common, they both decided to keep their distance from each other to avoid any suspicion. However, Ronnie, as we know, is pregnant. She's left Walford now and I think that's because she doesn't want Charlie getting ''involved'' because of their big secret. Also, if you think about Charlie and his first appearance in the show - he was with a ''police officer'' who broke the news to Dot about Nick's death. Who also happened to be there at the time - Ronnie! Then there's the moving of Lucy's body to the common and dumping it there. Out of everyone on the show, I don't think any character would have the cold, calculated mindset to do that apart from Ronnie (we don't even know Charlie and what he's really capable of yet). We know Ronnie killed Carl and coldly watched him getting crushed in the boot of that car on New Year's Day. Then there's the drugs. I think Lucy was getting them from Ronnie or Charlie. Remember it was Carl who supplied Roxy with cocaine after Christmas - Ronnie found out and was furious. I don't think she'd think twice about dealing now, anything is now possible with her. She's murdered someone and covered it up in cold blood - the character is now completely unpredictable. Remember Ronnie, Carl and all that business with his phone? She basically dumped crucial evidence in Phil's hands and left him to it. Now remember there's also a gun that she dumped in the same place. It has Sharon and Linda's prints all over it. That's probably what was used to kill Lucy - a blow to the head with a gun. Phil and Sharon know she killed Carl and have kept quiet for her. But imagine the guilt and devastation they'd feel, especially Sharon, having kept a secret and therefore allowed her to kill again. It would be a very clever way of bringing together Ian, Sharon and Dot together for the big 30th storyline. Jay, Billy etc. are all just red herrings. Charlie might be the dealer but Im still thinking its Aleks |

I think people are reading far more in to this than they should. I think it is pretty clear that:
Jay's suspicious behaviour is purely for the introduction of Ben and Charlie/Ronnie's suspicious behaviour is purely for the introduction of Nick. Both characters need stories to somehow bring them back to the square, they will not be involved in the Lucy murder at all, i'm 99.9% convinced of that. Eastenders needs more stories than just "who killed Lucy Beale" and i think DTC is doing a great job of introducing these 2 characters whilst making 3/4 people a suspect at the same time, great writing in my opinion. |
