EE: Abi Murder Theory

Sorry if it's been posted before, but this is a really good theory for Abi potentially being Lucy's Killer. http://andygibson.weebly.com/eastend...atherine-beale

Coupled with her alibi video, I reckon she makes a good suspect. Although motive wise I'm unsure, though we still haven't found who took the picture of Lucy and Max together. Maybe Abi could have discovered the fling and decided to confront, with it all going wrong? There has also been speculation about Jay appearing on the bus CCTV and him burying the phone and purse. Maybe he knows Abi did it and it trying to protect her? He has been involved in a cover-up before after all!

I feel Abi and Jay have been drifting through Eastenders for a while now with no significant story (unless there's another exciting exam plot coming up), and maybe DTC thought this could be their last hurrah. On the other hand we have the future revelations of Max/Emma and Cora/Rainie and Peter/Lauren to come out, so maybe it would be too much Branning related controversy?

interesting read

I had forgotten that the MItchells were in the hospital with Lola and Jay was with them

2 issues I have

1) DTC mentions a BIG Carter story that hasnt started yet - COULD that be connected to Lee and his blackouts and Lucys murder - I personally WOULDNT rule Lee out as a suspect
2) Im also not convinced that Aleks is entirely guilt free, I do think he has something to do with the drugs Lucy was taking

Would Abi be able to remain cool calm and collected though? We all know how stressed she got during her exams!

If Abi is the killer then it's a complete farce.

Abi would never be able to keep something like this up - whether it was accidental or not. She'd be in pieces and would own up straight away; there's no way she'd cope.

TPTB don't deserve to be in their jobs if they can't see that. It would be completely out of character for Abi and I don't understand why they'd choose her to cover this up for NINE MONTHS when there's plenty of other characters who you can believe would be capable of covering it up for so long.

I'm not saying Abi isn't capable of murder (I guess it's believable that anyone could be depending on the time/place), but I will never buy her being able to continue 'normal' life for nine months knowing she killed Lucy.

Pretty sure that was Shirley being Mick's mother? He said that before that was revealed, so I assume that's what he was referring to - unless he's said it again since?

I think that was an incredibly flawed theory. Too many people were ruled out just because the author thinks "it couldn't possibly be them" or "doesn't make sense for it to be them". The story is still unfolding and there are many things we still don't know and there are many things which still don't make sense...

I dont know, I didnt notice a date on the article so I dont know when it was written

doesnt change anything - I personally wouldnt rule out Lee Carter as a suspect just based on his blackouts and him not remembering anything when they happen

Completely agree. She might be capable of murder, but it's ludicrous that she'd be able to go on living like she'd never done it.
